Alright, upon creating a post about me being unable to contact a specific user, I was told to go post in another thread, namely "Sent Messages not showing up in "Sent Messages/Outbox"" http://forums.plentyoffish.com/datingPosts3133546.aspx
Only, I can' t post in that thread, because when I do enter a message, the page reload without showing my message. It's been driving me insane, especially since the moderator suggested that since my messages didn't show up in the forum, maybe I should post on the forum. That doesn't always display my posts. Of course. Please, help!

Well it's nice to know that others have had this problem.

While it's no big deal to me ~ and I don't want my money back

It is annoying if you have constructed a nice piece that is germaine to the thread topic and might offer light into darken spaces.

I ~ blow it off and move on ~ no time to waste!

my creative juices are flowing and there much more where that came from.

and above all ~~ I'm really not that important,

that said, I feel it's not my loss but others.

I didn't read all the posts, but I've noticed the OP seems to be immune to the 2 in 10 rule?
(it would be logical to have it that way)

Only women can start new threads in Ask A Guy and only men can start threads in Ask A Girl.
Either gender can respond though, in either of those forums.
Check this out for more info...

Bear in mind though that those forums have a cap of 20 responses, then the thread is auto-locked.

Yeah, clearly I've been rude to people here and offer no valuable insight.

I think I'll stay off the boards. What a sham, I did nothing wrong other than post normal topics.

Why would I read a useless information over and over???

Because the material didn't sink in the first time.

Try this link --> What Possible Reasons are there for you not being able to post in the Ask A Forums.

Is there any chance of overriding this for event hosts and co hosts, Sometimes someone needs an immediate answer or if the even thread is slow it may be a couple of days between each post yet we have to answer questions, therefore the thread could go us person1 us p2 us p3 but only needing a simple answer such as is there a pre meet, what time , where . Its awful difficult to fill out a post when all that is needed is a one word answer. It created a real problem when a lady posted at the last minute just before a meet and neither of us could answer or pm because other mailing restrictions.

If you quote their question in your reply, that will often be enough characters to override the filter. It also ensures there will be no confusion over what question you're answering.

I did and it didn't . Their question was something like what time?

In a case like that, I doubt you're going to get dinged for padding your post a little for the sake of answering a question related to the event. The filter is there to discourage one-liner, chatty posts. As long as you're not making a habit of getting around it for frivolous reasons you should be okay.

Because it really shouldn't affect anyone if they "Actually" read what was posted in message 1 , what its purpose is and how to avoid it.

From Post #1
The FILTER: You Cannot Post More Than 2 Replies Within Any 10 Consecutive Posts In A Thread

To All Posters, READ THIS for your quick solution

Post something with substance, other than just one, two or three word replies, then the filter will allow you more than 2 out of the last 10 posts.

If you need to respond to a lot of posters at once, gather your thoughts, quote each member you are replying to, and answer both, or as many as you wish in one post, - problem solved. Many people have already adopted this style, even before the filter was put in place.

Word of caution though, circumvent the auto-filter, and post successive sequential replies, and you will be subject to suspension, depending on severity. See Acceptable Use & Posting Rules with respect to sequential replies - Give others a chance to post after you, before posting again.

I understand the reasoning behind keeping trolls from spamming a decent post - what's annoying - from a users perspective - is to get into a great discussion with someone - on a topic that might be beneficial to other readers - and said discussion is cut short by posting limits.

I see why the filter is place - but I still think it takes away from the enjoyment of the boards over all.

Such is my opinion.

Oh dearest Trapped, I do not envy your job. It isn’t the reading, it’s that when they read they do not comprehend what they are reading.

For those that take issue with this "filter", I for one have never been tripped up by the 2 in last 10 "rule" because I write a mini- novel in almost every post.........get it????
