dreamcatcher30,

you are very mistaken, the title of the thread clearly says "football teams" so i am talking about football, you know, proper football played with a round ball and using the feet.

what you call football in Australia and americans in USA is NOT football! why would a sport with players carrying the ball with the hands be called football??? a footballer needs the FOOT to kick the BALL and hands are not allowed in football unless you are a goalkeeper.

95% of people on earth recognize football as the sport played with a round ball and using the feet.

you and americans should change the name of your sports, why not Australian handball and American handball as the ball is carried by hands???

again dreamcatcher you are wrong,lol

"soccer" as you call it means football, you know, proper football.

football was officialy "created" in Britain in the beginning of the 19th century (Football Association) although Brits already played it centuries before! In Britain you find the oldest football teams such as Manchester United Football Club,Glasgow Rangers Football Club,Liverpool Football Club and a long etc.Not only in Britain but Spain,Germany you also find teams from the 19th century.

there were only 2 kinds of football at that time:of course Football Association and Rugby Football.

therefore, what you and americans call football is NOT proper football but a basttardized try between football and rugby, lol

by the way,i know that in Australia and USA,football is called "soccer" but that is just nonsense, for football is football and shall always be!

Can't wait to turn up to work on Monday. I think the staff are about half/half Eagles and Dockers supporters. I'm the only staff member that goes for Adelaide. The Principal and deputies are all Freo supporters. You should of heard them stirring everyone every time Freo won this year lol They don't let up.

Like a true supporter I still wore my Crows scarf even when we lost.

I wonder how vocal they will be this Monday lol They may tell me to leave..

it should be interesting.... it has been 6 years since a VIC team has won the cup (bombers 2000).... and this will be the 3rd year it has been all NON VIC teams in the final.....

will there be a debate on the salary caps for interstate teams from the non interstate teams?....lol.... just love the off season dribble vic teams put out there to justify their downfall over the last 10-15 years....lol...

C'mon the CROWS... the countdown is on to the most important match for this year so far!

Bad luck to Freo mikey :( It would of been great to see the Dockers and Crows in the Grand Final. I didn't watch the game as I was at the casino celebrating my friends hens night.

The Aussie accent is hot no matter how you slice it.

I believe the genuine thing would work on men here the same way it works on women.

Susan..... you have the power. Use it wisely.
