That spark that brings two people together, when you look into each other's eyes. Everyone has certain likes and dislikes about things that we want in our "perfect soulmate". As long as we can remember that beauty fades over time, but the heart remains the same throughout our lifetime. And I always say that communication is the most important part of a relationship to make it work. But as you can see, I'm still single..lol. Still searching for my "Ideal" Mr. Right. | |

HOWEVER men (ME) do know what love is, and we have just as hard of a time describing it as we do finding it, but sometimes we are inspired. So I submit one of the poems I wrote in the name of love, hope you all enjoy.

There is no way to say all that should be said to you,
All one can do is use the words that are at hand.
If I could I would invent new words and phrases,
Meaning far more than simple ‘love’ can.
Yet how would I chose to spell that witch describes such emotion.
To include metaphor of depth like the deep of the oceans.
To include a sense of divinity like the stars I see in CC.
A word able to describe a harmony and balance, like the spinning planets.
How would I describe the most essential need and want.
How to tell someone that for them, all would be forfeit to this dream.
How dose one describe the joy of looking into and through someone,
And knowing there soul.
Is there a way to relate all these things. Yes. There is.
Just not with words alone. For how can a word tell you all,
About the feelings your eyes unlock in me.
How can a simple word tell you that each breath I take if you are there,
It’s an eternity, and it is in those moments I can believe in heaven.
Not just for my proof in angels that you provide, but for the light that fills my soul.
Could one simple word hold the script for each glance, each smile, an smirk.
Could it describe each strand of hair, or each embrace.
I can not believe that one word can compare your lips to silk,
Or your eyes to emeralds. No I refuse to think the word ‘love’ in all its grace,
Can come close to what it means to see you.
So how can I say all that must be said. Is it with the many pages of a letter?
With the writing of a poem, or with the invention of a new word,
Because the old one can not come close to the meaning I have for it.
No, none of those for me it would take a lifetime to explain my love for you.
So if you could give me just that long. But I cant even get you to let me try,
Because the only word I have falls short as a lie.
So I suppose there is nothing I can say that would truly let you know how I feel.
Once I fell for you, because your love was so intense.
Why not let me do for you what you have done for me?
To inspire you to return my emotions and set your soul free.
Perhaps It will be like giving your heart wings. | |
