The guy had a weird tongue. I kid you not. Everytime he said something that required the use of the tongue in the front of his mouth, it flicked out. It reminded me of a snake.

Twenty-five years ago. We'd dated for a month. I invited her to my place for dinner. After the food, she went to use the bathroom. About an hour later, it was my turn. She'd flushed when she'd finished, but it didn't all go away: she'd left one tiny bit floating in the pot. Just wasn't the same after that. I broke up with her a week later.

In college I dated this girl, she was really pretty, fun etc. BUT she just had a laugh that drove me crazy and I COULD NOT STAND. It was never a giggle, always a full on GUFFAW!!! It drove me nuts! LOL I couldn't stand it. If you tickled her a bit, instead of a cute little "hee hee" it was a full on "HAW HAW HAW"

Another girl, nice as well, etc. Had these nose hairs that always totally stuck out of her nose. So whenever we went for a kiss, all I would see were these spiders coming at me!! And for whatever reason she ALWAYS had bad breath. I was always nice about it. I would pop some gum in my mouth and ask if she wanted some. She always took some. I never did tell her either reason. We were young, in college, those relationships never last.

LOL

Those are probably the two most shallow reasons. Ah I was young. The problem with youth, is that it's wasted on the young.

LOL I'm with you on the Neon!!!

WHISTLING! (tunes, adagios, or bird calls) Especially if they whistle through their teeth, so it is EXTRA shrill. ##$$%%!!!

Makes me CRAZY!!! Evokes a RAGE re-action in ME. This is NOT a sign of "happiness". It is a nervous mannerism.

Other nervous mannerisms that are hard to tune out:

Drumming on the table ALL the time,
Knuckle cracking,
Constant figiting,
Crossing the legs, and constantly kicking the air
Gum popping

I just can't tune a lot of NERVOUS Mannerisms out! I can take 2 or three from list 2, but kickers and fighters need not expect much eye contact.

Also, can't stand a guy who can't just hold my hand without constanly rubbing on the back of it with his thumb.

Can't stand a guy who can't just put his arm around me without pawing my shoulder over and over.

NOT romantic!

Went out with one guy who was great -- but he had ALL these issues! (He was a nervous wreck, I guess. ) At the end of our VERY short meet -- I was a basket case. I was polite to him, but I just cut the date short without telling him why. I know people can't help this, so I don't try to "reform" them.

I DON'T want to offend anyone who does these things -- but I just can't tune things out . "It's not YOU -- It's ME!"

What is the shallowest reason you have chosen to break up with someone

Really? I broke up with a girl because she couldn't fit me all the way into her mouth. LOL

Just kidding

It was because she refused to tea bag.

What is refusing to tea bag? Never heard of it before.

I broke up with someone not too long ago because he felt like he had to tell me he loved me every half hour, even while going shopping. Maybe he meant it, but I didn't need to hear it quite that often, it kind of lost it's value, or something.

Also -- "What are you thinking about" -- men TEND to hate this one, of course -- but -- Surprise! -- Women can hate it, too.

"What's wrong?" evey thirty seconds that you aren't wearing a huge sh** - eatin' grin.

I don't remember even breaking up with anybody; I've always been on the receiving end...LOL. But I think the most shallow was after I spent a weekend with someone and upon returning, I got the "I'm picking up vibes" excuse but he couldn't tell me what kind of vibes. My dogs never tell me they're picking up vibes...LOL.

A woman clearly smitten couldn't tell me what a relationship was. I still don't know what to make of it.

Had to be in high school. I had been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years and we were coming up to our 2 year anniversary. He was getting ready to go away to university and he told me the day before that on our anniversary date he wasn't spending the day with me he was leaving to go & see his brother in Nova Scotia. Yeah that was stupid of me...he was the one that got away BIG TIME!!

I was see'n this chick , she had just moved to FL from France.. Well she was gerogeous beautiful figure, sexy French accent.. Unfortunatly after warning her over and over again that food in America is very DIFFERENT then in France, being that I was stationed in Germany for 2 years right oustside of France. However she became adicted to Krispy Kreme doughnuts and she just blew up with in a few months... Yeah I had to let that one go.

about 4 years ago, I was talking to this one woman, and we were hitting it off marvelously. We had been talking online and on the phone, and we both knew what each other looked like....

And then when we first met....after almost 2 hours together she looks at me and says we really won't go anywhere as a couple because she didn't want to get involved with a guy who had been divorced and had kids......which struck me as odd because she herself was divorced with 2 kids of her own. So after asking if that was the real reason, she hesitated, said no....and came out witht his little gem:

"You're just not good looking enough for me."

Which initially took me back for a second, until I came to my senses and thought to myself "we've been talking for over a month and you knew what I looked like before hand" so then I politely asked her what exactly she was looking for, and she said she really wanted to go out with someone that looked like The Rock, or someone that was build like the guys in the WWF.....to which I simply nodded......asked how many guys she had met like that and who wanted to go out with her as well.....and she said none. To which I then replied:

"That's cause YOU'RE not good looking enough for them."....got up from the table, and walked out on her.

Well, there were more reasons than that, but my last breakup was when a woman told me she can't see me anymore because her mother did not like me. Her mother never met me or knew anything good or bad about me. But, she saw me walking to my car, which is a 9 year old Chevy Prism, in a reasonable shape for 9-year old car but with no hubcaps. So, her mother admonished her about dating someone who didn't feel embarrassed to drive a car with no hubcaps.

I can understand teenagers and their first cars... but we are both in our 40's.

Hell somebody stop me!....This bloke Id just started seeing used to put on high factor suntan lotion on his legs, now bear in mind we live in the North of Britain and this particular year we werent getting much sun, certainly not enough to burn a mans legs through all the hair! Well one day, and this was the icing on the cake, was when he turned up wearing some cream very short shorts, white socks and sandals and proceeded to smother his legs in the suntan lotion,......Im afraid my heart sank and immediately went off him. Oh how shallow is that!

WORD! I am 6 ft tall and I cant be with a guy who is anything less than that its too weird My most shallow break up was not for height tho it was because I needed a way out of a diff situation, the guy I was with couldnt help that situation due to his own. And I went to someone who could. Regretted that every day since.

I'll usually put up with a lot. Everyone has quirks and flaws, and I will learn to accept them if a person is pleasant and loving (and relatively attractive)...

However, I can't stand people who're unhygienic... I did dump someone because her breath smelled and her girly parts stank BAD too. She thought I was just being kinky when I suggested sex in the shower... =S

I don't think that's shallow though. It's common courtesy to keep yourself clean...

I met a fellow went on one date and he was ok. But then I went to a event about a week later and he showed up because he knew I was there. I don't mind a guy coming with me but don't follow me around. creepy
