| Thin Overweight Average Posted: 8/3/2007 11:31:34 AM | love em short... well your size all arround... not a big fan of skinny and although height is never really a consideration... I usually end up with women who are less than 5'5... so good on you, it is really about the personality once you get past the initial size that matters | |

| Thin Overweight Average Posted: 8/3/2007 12:04:09 PM | Maybe she's proud of being just who she is? In this day and age I thought loving yourself unconditionally was a good thing.
No, loving your self unconditionally is probably the most detrimental thing you can do to your worth as a human being. Lets see, someone who dosen't work and doesnt want to work should love themselves despite the fact they are going nowhere and use other's tax money to support themselves. A child rapist should love himself despite the fact that he, well, rapes children. See what I'm getting at here? Loving yourself no matter how terrible you are is NOT a good thing. And no I'm not saying obese people are terrible, my point is about unconditional self love.
I don't love myself unconditionally. If I do something stupid I feel no reason to "love" myself. If I achieve something than yes, there comes the love.
Back on topic, being proud of your body type while having done nothing to accomplish it is illogical and unproductive. If she ate a ton of fried chicken, ok, at least that takes effort. Its not a positive thing but at least it shows will power. Like winning the olympics of binging or something. But being proud of a physical trait one was born with is pointless.
and what on earth makes you think it was fried chicken that got her there?
I have no idea how she got there, but unless she got there by her own will power than she has nothing to be proud of. I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt. Hell even if she did work to become fat that would not be something to be proud of. It would show effort but complete lack of disregard for her health.
Or maybe she's proud of not being an ***hole like some of the other posters on here.
Welcome defensiveness, Ive been expecting you. I havent said anything offensive about fat people. I'm just saying being fat in and of itself is nothing to be proud of. Neither is being blonde, African, or from New Jersey. Its something we are born into, usually. If it takes no effort or striving on our parts,h why be proud of it?

My wife of 37 years is only 4'11" and never found any difficulty. As for the chunky I'll take them as and when I can no matter a few extra pounds but not really obese thanks.

That includes average, curvy, athletic/fit etc. The body types that I'm not attracted are ultra bony / anorexic , obese, and hard core body builders. Height is not an issue. I wouldn't care if she was 6 ft tall or 5 ft tall.

There are some with fat fetishes and I find them odd but it is the only way I get laid. Same as a fat guy, no gal wants a fat guy, not even me, Ms. fattie Mcfatster! so i can see why. Law of nature people.

The Beauty of a Woman
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen from her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole, but true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows. The beauty of a woman with time only grows.

"WOMAN WITHOUT HER MAN IS NOTHING" The men wrote : "Woman , WITHOUT HER MAN, is nothing." The women wrote: "WOMAN! WITHOUT HER, man is nothing!"

| Thin Overweight Average Posted: 5/7/2008 2:34:34 PM | | How boring would the world be if there was only vanilla ice cream? How boring would the world be if there were only thin girls? As long as you have confidence, and project that, there will be someone out there who is attracted to you. Rock what you got I say. I am a bigger girl and have no problems getting men - I think they are attracted to my confidence because I love who I am and don't care what others think of me. | |

I'll take a Skinny girl over a BBW . . Any time..!!

| Thin Overweight Average Posted: 5/7/2008 4:09:04 PM | | i hate to break it to you but yes MM was a size 16 in the sixitys however in the eightys sizing changed. a 16 in the sixtys would equal a 6 today. if not smaller. i know this because when my mother was in highschool she wore a 10. she graduated in 1977 and she weighed 98lbs. you do the math. | |

| Thin Overweight Average Posted: 5/7/2008 4:21:44 PM | 5'2" and 140 is quite big!
at 5'2" a weight of 100 to 110 would be average.
size 6 is about average (relative to a decent shape) unless there is a purposeful engorgement to make it size 12 but most of the womanly inflection ponits are then gone. size 5 and under would be thin.
|
| Thin Overweight Average Posted: 5/7/2008 5:02:46 PM | Size 6 may be average for the women you date, but 14 is the national average in the US.
Deal with it. | |

No, the distribution is what it is.

Size 6 is what you want the average to be. It isn't the average and no amount of wanting changes that.

| Thin Overweight Average Posted: 5/8/2008 3:02:44 AM | Stephaniebar,
I think you should be happy in the skin your in... if you are NOT happy try to gain/lose weight accordingly so that YOU feel better about yourself. Dont worry about what other people think about you. If they are so shallow as to not to date you because you are "too short", "too skinny" "too fat" etc that is there lost. People seem to forget that we dont keep our looks forever.... unless we're a celebrity who can spend millions of dollars on nip tucks botax lipo and plastic surgery etc LOL
In my expereince, guys are interested in women they can use as aceesary... the grammy/logie women (i.e the trophy accessory) someone that looks good dolled up for a night on the town as well as in Pj's.... if a guy/girl is genuine with you they should see you in this light in their eyes.....
I was forever worrying about people not liking me because I am fat...BUT at the end of the day i know im cute.... im cheeky and I can be sexy.... Its about finding the right person for you!
I am sure you are beautiful :)
Good luck! | |

size 6 would be average if there was some care involved. Since you seem to expect that I should care to make people like you happy... You are single, by your profile admission, never married and have no kids. Let's talk about time management.
Care about what? I care about feeding my kids, making sure the bills are paid, having gas in my car, going to school full time and working two part time jobs to make sure I can finish school. I barely have time to do my own laundry. I simply don't have time to work out 4 days a week and stress out over every GD bite that enters my mouth.
Amazingly enough, I still manage to be happy with myself, what I am doing and my life. All without your approval and all without ever once in a day feeling the need to be a size 6.
Oh yes, and not all women should be a size 6. People come in all shapes, sizes and variations. Sorry if we do not measure up to your standards of "caring" for ourselves. But honestly, I am pretty sure we are collectively unconcerned with what you think.

Remember that one from Thursday night? Maybe that should be "average" according to some.

| Thin Overweight Average Posted: 5/11/2008 10:34:00 PM | Aintnopixie---- That was a great post.. I didn't know that womens sizes were different before the 70's.. I think every Big girl I've ever met is so quick to say " Marlyn Monroe was a size 16 lol ..
Everyone knows body fat is not attractive. Some people choose to just deal with it and acccept it, while others just go for the body type they like. Only time I have a problem is when a guy whoe doesn't like a BBW is called "shallow" but a girl who dosen't like a Big guy thats called " having prefrences" LOL Even more funny is when BBW won't date a guy because he's too fat. LOL

I must not be shallow... I like my men husky. I don't want to worry that I will accidentally break them.
|
| Thin Overweight Average Posted: 5/12/2008 10:22:25 AM | | ^^^ Isn't that also a form of being shallow ??? Being that you only want your man to be husky ?? Or if a guy ony likes Fat girls isn't that just as shallow as only like girls who are fit ?? How come if someone only like the non popular choice its not viewd as being shallow ? | |

Gladly! If you're average, then date average.
The average height for a US male is 5' 9" tall.
The average weight for a US woman is 162 lbs.
Males on the more desirable end of the height spectrum (taller, according to most women) can date women on the more desirable end of the weight spectrum (thinner, according to most men). & vice versa.
