Posted: 4/26/2009 4:36:28 PM | This is why I even list my actual weight in my ad... so that if its a problem, I don't have to hear about it. My body is my body, and if a guy accepts it great. If not, then he needs to move on to someone slimmer.
Like most women I am working on losing some weight, but like most humans I also love food so it's always an ongoing battle. Personally, I don't care what the guy weighs. I've dated some very overweight guys. But if my weight is going to be an issue for him, then I'd rather he not contact me in the first place. | |

Posted: 4/26/2009 8:07:15 PM | I notice how nearly all the mean comments on this thread are directed at skinny women (not saying everyone is stating their preferences in a rude matter, certainly not -just talking about the language that /some/ people are using ("break her in two" "if I wanted a skeleton I'd get one in the science lab" "not a real woman" etc.)
How is that a positive development, eh? Is that better than making fun of overweight people? Why is that more acceptable? Umm... cuz I think they're both pretty incredibly sad.
And yeah, models in the 50s were generally more curvaceous than fashion models today, but most were still what most people today would consider "thin" or "athletic". | |

i need someone on my level. 5'7 or 5'8 and about 120-130 lbs. was never too much really into petite. i can't have have a woman who is heavier than me, unless pregnant. | |

I like a woman with some meat on her bones from muscle and sinew, in a toned feminine manner. (Hey, I like a little muscle definition in a woman - sue me). Besides not being attracted to "average" or above, it is also not healthy.
As for height, I find ther is something intriguing about being able to look a woman in the eyes. Even though the average height for women of a certain age is 5'4".
So, that puts me down for average height and above paired with less than average weight and below for body mass.

My personal definition of curvy is of a woman who is SLIM, in shape but has either an our glass or pear shaped figure. Curvy meaning skinny but has banging booty and thights to go with it.

If you mean Marilyn Monroe, then she definitely WAS plus sized because I believe she was a size 14 - and plus size models start at size 14.
My personal experience is that men prefer chubby girls. Chubby and short. I am by no means skinny - I am athletic. But I find that most men (at least those I met) seem to be threatened by athletic women. Dunno. I never wanted to arm-wrestle my partner so I really don't understand it. | |

I have had guys anywhere from rail thin to body builders to big men hit on me and want to get with me. Same goes for height. Anywahere from 5'2" to 6'11". It's as varied as anything else. Som men love my curves and some men want a slender woman. Whatever works. It's a matter of liking what you have and working with it. The only key is to find someone who likes what you are working with and you like what they are working with. no magic formula involved. | |

I'm going to assume that many here are not looking for love or anything like it. So many have specific physical traits they are looking for, it's not a wonder why so many lack the depth to actually make it happen.
While I understand that we all have something that makes us tick purely on a physical level, there is so much more to a person than their body and how it's shaped, colored and handled.
I don't have a type myself. While there are certainly things I can appreciate about a man (good hygiene, sound health and such) I've been surprised many times by the types of men I have felt drawn to despite their lack of the features I normally thought I required to feel attracted.
Character means so much more than any physical aspect of a person to me. | |
