I prefer a girl who is not more than 6 inches shorter than me, and as far as weight, as long as they have curves its OK. When they start becoming round or pearish shaped, that's when the deals off.

But I find that men my age (late 30s or so) are too dam picky! The older guys and the younger guys are surprisingly accepting of a womans body, no matter what they have, whereas men in their 30s expect perfection. they all want athletic, toned, trim women, which would be great to be, I'm sure but unfortunately for me and a lot of other women its just not gonna happen. If men were smart they would look for women who are happy with themselves, whether they are 100lbs or 300lbs, because there are a lot of thiin women who are miserable and a lot of fuller figured ladies who are sexy and happy and really enjoy life (not to menttion sex).
I understand everyone has a preference but sometimes you have to open your eyes to possibilities. My first love was a perfect 6'1, 190lbs, swimmers body (lovely to say the least) and I honestly thought taht was the only type I could see myself with. well after him i dated a guy for 8 years who was 5'4 and weighed 140lbs. personality goes a long way! mind you my last ex was 6'6 ( do prefer tall...sorry)
anyways.... they big gripe here is the men my age who expect so much, especially when they are as far from perfection as I am, lol | |

Us guys judge each other on money, cars, and our women. If a guy has got a phat bank account, pimped out ride, but without a hot smoke'n chick at his side..... He's still gonna be looked down on your womean is a symbol of your status, shes an extension of you. Being that most guys in their 30's have an established career and that normally comes with the nice ride... well that guy is probably look'n for that 3rd and final piece to be viewd by his peers as a successful guy. Its stupid and retarded but then agian so is saying that the bigger diamond ring a man buys you the more he loves you or spending $300 for a purse. While most younger guys probably don't have any of the 3 so they don't care. LOL As far as the older guys well I think they just wanna prove to themselves that they can still hang with the younger chics.. But thats juat my opinon being that I'm not an old man yet LOL.. Posted: 3/27/2005 6:20:11 PM | I'm not a real big guy, so I look for someone around 5' to 5' 5" and thin, no more than about 120lbs. For me, it really sucks because in my mind, I'm happy with an average sized girl, but am only sexually aroused by thin girls.
What is frustrating to me is the "Average" or "Slightly Overweight" terms that are used on dating sites. Average to me means not rail thin and not overweight more than 20lbs.
Slightly Overweight to me means maybe 20-30lbs overweight according to the the BMI Categories:
* Underweight = <18.5
* Normal weight = 18.5-24.9
* Overweight = 25-29.9
* Obesity = BMI of 30 or greater
My BMI is 23.3, which to me, means average. To so many people in the U.S., I think that a BMI of 40 means Slightly Overweight. If I weighed another 20lbs more, I would consider myself Slightly Overweight, not Average anymore.
What does the word "few" mean? To me it means about 3-20, yet people that say they are a "few" pounds overweight, often mean 50-80. | |

for example a guy you might see out w a petite blond may be with a thick brunette the next time you see him out on a date
men like variety and so do women
for example you dont want to just eat pizza all the time? it would become very bland
i like to mix things up
i prefer tall guys (oh yeah i love me about a 7 foot tall man, lol)
but i would not limit myself solely on his height
guys are the same~~they may have a preference but when it comes down to it they will not limit themselves to only one type of girl unless they are very shallow or afraid of what their friends may think about the particular girl they are with
