at a Denny's...one friday night she was all ready to go out ..
there was a knock on the door ...it was "Rocky" the Denny's 43 yr. old cook !
Seems he was there to take my baby "out" ...His first mistake !
conversation went something like this..."Hello Rocky can I get you
something to drink" In my sweetest voice(he requested beer)
"you have childern ?" He had three 15 ,17,20...."so where are you taking my baby ?"
Oh the movie's....
"Well Rocky I suggest you go home now and spend some time with your own "kids"
He kinda ran out the door beer in hand! My girl was shakin' her head laughing
she said "I told him not to pick me up here!"
so I can relate Pandora.. | |

Laughing.....good for you!.....I remember when I was sixteen or so, I had a date who pulled into the driveway on a first date and honked.......I'll never know what my father said to the boy when he went out to meet him in my stead, .....but the guy practically ran when he saw me from that point on. It embarrassed me to the core at the time....but now I look back and know that I was valued :) | |

2 peoples with different chronological age. in reality though they both look, feel and act about the same.
I think it comes down to one's ability to 'sync', 'jive' or be 'in tune' with the other party. Age may present 'Generation Gaps', but there is no substitute for good Communications. | |

Being a women, I find most men in my age bracket are seeking women to to fifteen years younger than themselves. In our, "Must have it NOW" society, most people don't want to take the time to really get to know a person and we base our decision to date someone on looks only (or age). Most people want an "Instant relationship" and just don't want to take the time to truly get to know the person within what they deem to be a young, vibrant, beautiful body. | |
