edit...also make physical education(5 days a week) and nutrition education mandatory right up to graduation. There is too many fat, unhealthy kids in this country and they grow up to be fat unhealthy adults which may put a drain on our healthcare system.
Open more schools geared towards trades such as electricians, plumbers etc... | |

let me add to this.... and a unemployed forklift driver who should be spending more time looking for a job than being 20 years behind on Canadian Immigration law!
Read the statistics and find what APU and his family has to go though just to get into Canada.. but they are going for your forklift job! But thats ok you can drive TAXI and work in VARIETY STORES just to see how cushy they have it.

Out of the numbers we allow in Canada.. a very small percentage get government assistance while the majority require to do exactly what Mr. Unemployed Forklift suggest, come in with a self supporting trade or business venture money. The rest are family members, im sure many of you might suggest we should not let family in either?
Stop working on Canada's economic problems and start working on educating yourself for your own job, well before APU takes it from you because of your lack of intelligence!

and you are very much wrong about immigrants coming here and working in their educated field or you wouldn't see so many turban headed taxi drivers and I have looked into driving a cab but they would rather hire someone who can barely speak English and pay them less in cash than pay someone a legitimate livable wage. Firstly, anyone who gets a job building outhouses should be given credit to, specially when he graduated from fork lift school. You know what’s odd here, he most likely got a government grant or unemployment to get this so called outhouse construction job.

Many cowards hide behind the law (and keyboard) because it's simply against the law to touch someone, yet much if not all immoral behavior would be stopped immediately if people were allowed to do much our own policing and just kick the living shit out of those that truly deserve it. The courts would be much less conjested and people would be nicer to each other in general for fear of having their teeth knocked out because they are an ***hole in general or in the way they conduct business...or we can just bring in concealed weapon laws and that could have a similar effect.
I don't think anyone has to worry about the idiot having kids...his c.ock suckers cramp pose tells the "hidden" agenda.
I don't live a life where I have to continously look over my shoulder, but some do.

Seriously though, I do think it's a great idea, some of the laws now are ridiculous, and only allow idiots to hide behind a cops rear end, usually after he's the one to start all the trouble!
Also, disband the CAS, allow parents to swat thier kids for mis-behaving, maybe they won't grow up to be idiots either!

First off I would make laws tougher for murderers and sex offenders! Harsher sentences and build jails the way these animals should be housed! NO luxuries at all just a 4X6 cell bread and water and do away with the whole protective custody! No one protected the victims!
I would return any foreigners to their country that did not respect Canada as their homeland! We let them into our country there for they asked to come! They should respect our cultures and beliefs! I am not saying that they have to give up their cultures and beliefs just that they respect OUR’s !
Get rid of most of our Politicians and put real people in office, honest and intelligent people that actually want to work for the people not against the people!
Redo the health care system and not try and privatize it!
Get rid of the non smoking ban and let the private business owner decide for themselves if they wish to allow smoking or non smoking but I would keep the ban in place in the public sector. I would also ask the business owners to have an area separated for smoker that was ventilated so that it would not affect the people that do not smoke.
I would make it hard for young high school drop out to get welfare or implement the driver license law that they can not obtain one until they completed their GED.
There are a lot of things that I would do to improve Canada but that is in a perfect world it will never happen!

And this is why we have the CAS is to protect our children I am not saying that children should not be disciplined what I am saying is there are other ways without resorting to using violence! Posted: 7/22/2006 10:57:29 PM | I've been reading some of the other posts since I was here last, and I'm pretty sure some people have gotten the wrong idea. I just re-read my own posts, I'm not aware of a single racist thing I said. Someone help me out here, maybe I missed something.
My entire point was that all Canadians have to work together, and those who can't or won't, regardless of skin colour, should be permanently removed from our country.
Someone please explain to me how it can be considered racist to say to someone, If you're only here for what you can suck out of this country, and bring nothing to the table, we don't need or want you here, no matter where you were born. I have nothing against immigrants, my father came here from Scotland when he was a child. What I am saying is that we do NOT need immigrants who cannot speak enough of the language to function in Canada, who come here to commit crimes, who come here to live off the system, who cannot leave their ethnic feuds at home, or who come here and expect our entire society to re-arrange itself to suit them. What we DO need are immigrants who bring needed skills and/or investment, who are able to practice their professions to the benefit of Canada, and who are willing to commit themselves, body and soul, to Canada, not mere economic exiles, living and working here and sending money home.
I once spent two and a half years working on a construction contract in Mexico. It didn't take long to figure out that I was the one who had to adapt, to learn enough of the local language and customs to function in that society. I did not expect 83 million Mexicans to all suddenly learn English, or to adopt Canadian laws and customs, just for my benefit.
I also knew that, if I were to somehow lose the job I'd gone there for, I would have to return home, as I would be unable to find another one locally. In a strange country, with a different language, I would not even have known where to start. There is also no possible way I would have even considered going to the Mexican government for a handout. In most other parts of the world, that simply does not happen.
I believe it was Pierre Trudeau, in promoting the expansion of the welfare state, who once said that no one should have to work, if they didn't want to. This is true. What he failed to state was that no one should have a right to eat if they don't want to work, either.
My point about multiculturalism and bilingualism is that they are, by their very nature, DIVISIVE policies, and what Canada needs is UNITY.
Divisiveness and competing interests broke the back of the Roman empire. In the middle ages, Moslem armies from the middle east conquered most of southern Europe. They did not invade France because a man named Charles Martel UNITED the Franks to repel the invasion.
Divisive interests have been the cause of every civil war ever fought.
We do not need that in Canada. What we need is UNITY, and a common goal. All Canadians need to work TOGETHER, those who are not interested in that have no place here. Either you're IN, all the way, or you're out, and we'll drive you to the airport to see to it that you're out.
Incidentally, our southern border is only undefended on our side. US Customs and Border Protection's mission statement, in it's first line, calls them "America's first line of defense." Also, if you look at a map, the US has a string of large military bases all along their border with us, none more than an hour's drive from the border. It is also quite common to see armed soldiers at US customs. | |

This very same jealousy and envy was what made possible the rise of communism, and (this will get some people's shorts in a knot) unions.
Racism also promotes divisiveness.
Ultimately, it doesn't matter what church you go to, where you were born, or what you look like. What matters is that you get up and go to work every day, to do what you can to make Canada a better place. Every car built makes us a little more prosperous. Every vegetable grown helps keep us self-sufficient. Every drug dealer busted makes our country a little better to live in. Every child raised properly helps guarantee our future. Every vote counts.
That's what matters.

Pass an abortion law.
Detach your country from the U.S.
Get rid of the this upcoming passport law.
Solve or attempt to solve the ridiculous and ongoing problems with Quebec. No offense if anyone on here is from Quebec, but this has to stop.
Increase public health care and rewrite everything that pertains to it.

Posted: 4/14/2007 6:58:19 AM | We need to be more patriotic....I was at a Blue Jays game last spring and many of the Canadian fans did not remove their hats...or Sing our National Anthem..Some talked through it all. I know there is a mix of Americans and Canadians at a game...Many of the Americans were proud to sing their Anthem...here in Canada we show a poor example of Patriotism...
