| getting noticed at the bar Posted: 2/14/2005 4:51:08 AM | | Maybe it's just me, being inexperienced, young, and stupid, but I think that "you smell nice" comment is sorta on the corney side... but it seems all the ladies that posted here like it. I just can't see myself using it. I think I'd stick with the buying a drink, or asking for a dance. | |

| getting noticed at the bar Posted: 2/14/2005 4:51:15 AM | | If none of those things work... kick her in the shins!! Worked like a charm in the 3rd grade!! | |
|
| getting noticed at the bar Posted: 2/14/2005 5:30:45 AM | | telling her she smells great is one of the good ones. The best one I ever had was someone just walking over, grabbing my hand and said" I just wanted to say hi" and he left.I was like d*mnnnn where did he go? found him later lol good eye contact helps too ;without staring at her like some suicidal maniac lol | |
|
| getting noticed at the bar Posted: 2/14/2005 5:35:32 AM | In all honesty... dont be a clone. Do something subtle, yet sophisticated. Running over to her and telling her she has a nice rack is a buzz kill. But like Cherie said, the walk up, say hi, and walking away worked. And Cherie is a beautiful woman... so that has great potential.
But do something out of the norm. From what I hear and know... women grow tired of the same ole, same ole. They are the better looking of the species, and do not constantly need to be reminded in the lamest of ways. Simple, yet heartfelt ways will usually get you a chance to buy them a drink and maybe get to know a bit more about them. But staring at them, with gallons of drool draining onto your favorite Hawaiian shirt... isnt going to land you that fairy princess!
|
| getting noticed at the bar Posted: 2/14/2005 5:43:16 AM | | NO to drool and no to Hawaiian shirts.Like Cross said be original be sincere and keep it simple oh and smell greattt-u must smell good!! lol | |

| getting noticed at the bar Posted: 2/14/2005 5:44:52 AM | " I simply must find a more suitable host body"...
works for me... (don't forget your tinfoil hat)
|
| getting noticed at the bar Posted: 2/14/2005 11:28:44 AM | turn sideways, standing... on one leg and cross them... Then let your piggy outta the barn and pretend not to notice...I've done this before and it works | |

| getting noticed at the bar Posted: 2/14/2005 1:49:44 PM | I like the "smellnicece" line - but I think if you do it, you HAVE to ask about the perfume.
Or am I wrong ladies? | |
|
| getting noticed at the bar Posted: 2/14/2005 1:49:56 PM | @hotguy just knock her drink into her lap, that will definetly get ya noticed
That actually worked for my cousin. We were in a meat market type place, this was years ago,I accidently dropped my beer on the floor and it made a noise that caused everyone to look.I went to get some help cleaning it up and when I came back he was talking to several hot girls. He later told me he wanted me to go to bars with him and spill more drinks.

| getting noticed at the bar Posted: 2/14/2005 2:32:40 PM | To get noticed at a bar... I smile at every girl, get alot of smiles back! Also, if you can dance pretty good, you will be noticed! I have a secret scent that works wonders too.... NO bs If there are any ***holes causing trouble, regulate! be a man and you will be noticed. For the girls, if you want to be noticed, just show up. | |

| getting noticed at the bar Posted: 2/14/2005 2:35:25 PM | Dude you are trying to get noticed by the chicks in a bar?
Are you off your melon? No guy can do that, shy or not!
No, no, no. You have to make the first move in a bar scene. Women there specifically doll themselves out to be noticed by you, not the other way around, in hopes you'll buy them a drink, ask them to dance, or whatever.
Although it is very, very rare, a man can be noticed by a woman in a bar. But there is a very, very good chance she's either drunk, high, or just got out of an argument with her live in boyfriend.
As mentioned somewhere above, the man ends up making the first move whether that was the original intention or not.
That's the way of the wild.

| getting noticed at the bar Posted: 2/14/2005 2:39:02 PM | | I totally disagree with that theory. If im interested in a man,he will know and no I wont be drunk, stoned or in an arguement, but I will make sure i look good and smell even better lmao hiccup | |

| getting noticed at the bar Posted: 2/14/2005 4:08:25 PM | | have a friend sit next to you and talk loudly about what you need to do with your money after you sold some sport franchise to avoid capital gains taxes. Make sure he's overheard. | |
|
| getting noticed at the bar Posted: 2/14/2005 5:04:53 PM | A woman at a bar was standing in line near me and said, "You smell good, what do you have on?" I said, "A hard-on,, but I didn't know you could smell it"!
Worked like a charm,,,make 'em laugh,,simple as that..

| getting noticed at the bar Posted: 2/14/2005 5:25:56 PM | Who ever said this line of drivel below me obviously never been hit on by a chick. I don't want to sound vain(actually I really don't give a sh@t either way), but I always get hit on by women. It happens alot by the way.
