| getting noticed at the bar Posted: 9/14/2005 7:13:51 AM | Never went to pick anyone up in a bar, so.....Have had lines used on me alot, and I just laugh and tell them there is one over there that would probly go home with you, never going to happen with this girl, but its nothing personal, and wink at them. They used lines like. 1. I saw you, and you seam like the only normal person in this bar. 2. I always buy the prettest lady in the place a drink, and then my self one. Habit. No strings intended. Just like good company. 3. Are they bump in to me, and say something like I am so sorry, its crazy in here tonight, and just stand there and talk to me, then they ask if they can buy me a drink if my glass is getting low. and so on and so on.......What I find funny is if I let them buy me a drink and they find out its just pepisi nothing else, the look on there face seams priceless.(Makes me laugh.) Hey. they knew ahead of time not a chance, of doing anything but talking to me. Haven't been in to many bars, just a few times is all, because being honest the places smells bad, and you do if your there a little wile. (Smoke, and beer, nasty)

| getting noticed at the bar Posted: 9/15/2005 6:49:04 AM | I soooooooo miss the 80's when for a brief time the gym had replaced the bar as a meeting place. You saw the women and they saw you sober, unmade and in bright light,so you know if you found each other attractive,it was real,it wasn't the booze talking and you knew you wouldn't wake up with the coyote syndrome and want to chew off your arm to get away unoticed.
These days people are too hostile to be a decent pickup anywhere.People are so self absorbed these days I don't see how anyone meets anybody. You walk into a bar and women already have the snyde comments ready for you before you open your mouth. In the gym women have the earphones crammed in so deep, their MP3 players might as well be surgically implanted.
What happened to people?Churches are even getting that way.

I love it when a man has the balls to grab both of my ass cheeks, and then finishes off by telling me "nice tits". At which point, i'm all his to do as he wishes.
forget the drinks, just start dry humping her LOL

| getting noticed at the bar Posted: 9/15/2005 10:18:02 PM | the you smell nice line might not be that accurate anyway. because 5 minutes after I walk into a bar I stink of smoke anyway.
In this area there are no bars outside of restaurants and hotels. I should go check out a few. I dont want sleazy and cheesy, I want a nice convo!!
