Like really south, we call it Victoria!
He, he, he... I live on the Mighty Murray River and according to some reports 'we have more hours of sunshine than the sunshine coast': so that counts doesn't it? | |

Holiday time for me in Queensland at the end of the week..... Queenslanders here I come.. are you ready for a Victorian.. lol
Now let me see, Great Barrier Reef, Daintree, Cape, Cairns, Magnetic Island, Dunk Island.. not going to miss one bit of it even if I have to drink Red Bull day in and day out to keep me going. Did I mention sailing? snorkelling, diving (and watch out for the bubbles GG).

| Anyone from Queensland Australia?? Posted: 4/4/2007 4:45:34 PM | I know this is a bit late...But it was the only interesting Forum I could find. I am from Townsville (NQ), originally from Brisbane. I have 2 sons and am torn between city and country life...although Townsville isn't really as country as people think. Yes there a lot of AJ's, but they're not too bad except for a few out in town...but boys will be boys. I personally stay away from the club scene now..too much of a meet market for me lol. | |

| Anyone from Queensland Australia?? Posted: 4/24/2007 8:54:01 PM | Yep, I'm here in Ingham, about an hour north of Townsville. We're the southern gateway to the wet tropics: Rainforest, reef, dry hinterland, volcanos, 265m drop waterfalls, cool beaches, fishing, mozzies, snakes, crocs... all the good stuff.
You southern folk should head up this way for a look-see. The locals are pretty laid back...time slows down... no rush.
Between Xmas and Easter it gets a bit hot and it'll likely rain-like-buggery, but any other time is great.
Happy fishing... | |

| Anyone from Queensland Australia?? Posted: 7/14/2007 7:42:07 PM | I am a Mexican, but I have a chat friend who chats in my trivia room on the BigPond chat server, who has 8 kids(lives in Tweed Heads, that is close to Qld). I also tutor English to migrants, and one lady from Liberia has 9 kids. Unfortunately her hubby is deceased. Incidentally the bigpond chat server is bigpond.com/chat and my room is #friends.trivia all welcome. | |
