Posted: 10/31/2007 5:42:11 PM | Hey guys, I was introduced to this forum concept by a friend...it's pretty cool. I'm old fashioned and I still use records so I'm catching up on technology.
I see in some of the posts that people are planning get togethers in LA and other cities. Is there a place on this site where all the upcoming get togethers are posted? I'm putting on a few Firewalk Retreats in various cities around the county and I'm putting one on in the Hollywood Hills in Los Angeles in November. When's the get together in the LA area scheduled? Myself and a few friends might be interested. Later gators! | |

Posted: 11/15/2007 12:03:59 AM | Hello, good people. Just returned to California, staying up north with my friend looking for a new line of work. I'm walking away from a lucrative corporate career to go back to school and pursue a career that keeps me outdoors, and makes me happy.
I dig the outdoors, am pretty low-key, and as long as I have the outdoors/natural environment, the world will turn. Now if I could just find an outdoorsy, brainy female companion, things would be quite good.
Friends would be great, too, as I'm new to the NoCal area, and know exactly one person here. Thanks for listening.

Posted: 11/22/2007 2:04:00 PM | I have just moved to Bay Area. I am European, I mean I really am. I am not just a hair of someone who moved to US 100 years ago. I have been in US for 3 years, and I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. I am a native moscovite, a city girl. All the time in US I was longing to live in the city again, and here I am. San Francisco is my destination, I'd like to settle here till I grow old and move back to Florida, I guess, to live my old days there. May be not, I might like it here so much, so I will never move from San Francisco. Well, I am a very warmth loving creature, so I at least have to have a fireplace in my house to be able to warm up when it's too cold around. But I am pretty hot hearted, so, well, why do I need Florida in the first place? The nature is even more beautiful here. All these old trees and mountains!
So, was I supposed to say something about myself or introduce myself? I think I did it spectacularly fine.
I am looking for friends. I love social interaction, and interaction as it is. I like talking. I like exchanging energies. I just love people. I have my theory about mind games, which I love. People don't like them, being tired of dishonesty and infidelity. I don't mean that kind of games. I am about staying intense next to someone you mutually like. When two people like each other, it's too boring to just jump in the bed (which is not a big deal) and then break up in couple months. I like surfing, but I prefer diving. Emotional and spiritual (I am not a religious fanatic, I assure you) diving. Well, surfing is ok, but when it's only about the wave. With people diving is my preference. And here games come into play. Kind games. Kind mind games. To keep it tense and interesting. All the time.
Too bad, it's hard to find a partner who would be up to it... are you?

I'm seriously the coolest guy you'll ever get to know if you just take the chance and say hi. I live on the beach with my two awesome roommates. Although I can be clumsy at times, I really enjoy cooking and have a great job as an executive chef. I'm a very likable and approachable guy. Women come up to me all the time at the post office or the market. Maybe it's because I'm always smiling and playing practical jokes on people. I enjoy riding my bike on the beach or hanging out with my friend Larry down the street at the Regal Beagle. My roommates are a total laughing gas riot and I love em' but not in "that" way...! Shame on you for thinking that...haha! One is a goofy blond and the other a very intelligent brunette, but that's just how it is in the world, right? We spend most our time just hanging out having a great time as long as our pesky landlord, Furley, or the next door neighbor, Lana, doesn't come over because that's when the real trouble starts!
I'm 6'4, blue eyes, brown hair all-American tripper type of guy that you'd love to get to know... but enough about me... tell me a little about yourself now! | |
