My Name is Corrine and i'm a mom of two boys ages 7 and 2 and i LOVE being a mom, it's the highlight of my life.
I also love the outdoors like camping, bonfires, beaches, sunsets over the ocean, horseback riding.. anything outside.
I am honest and spontaneous and romantic and cuddly and love things like bubble bath's and fireplaces, and red wine and holidays, fairs, bbq's..
i am glad to be here and i hope i find someone special to share my life with. it seems nice here so i'm pretty hopeful. :)

I'm clean and sober and I'm a great guy.
I love to cook and I love the outdoors. I mountain bike, backpack and river raft.
Since I don't go to bars and I'm older since most of my peers are all ready married my opportunities to meet women who have similar as do I is slim.
I've got a great sense of humor. I'm honest and a hard worker. What more do you really want ?
I'm equally at home in a museum as I am in my workshop, I'll eat at taco trucks and five star Michelin restaurants both are fine with me.
Yes, I'm a little rough around the edges but I'm gold inside.

Posted: 4/24/2008 10:39:29 PM | Hi folks. Just joined up recently. My name is ********* hmmm are we supposed to say? LOL. I'm Howard. Pleased to meet you lovely California folks. I'm an L.A. person. Voted most likely to recede (but that didn't work out LOL). I practice law during the week but my passion is music. I've played keyboards by ear since age 6 and am also self taught on guitar in my late teens. I was weaned on Blues (ergo "Bluesman") and R'n B growing up and that's the music I seem to gravitate towards. To me it's very visceral. But I like pretty much any kind of music that's done well and my musical tastes run from Muddy Waters/Delta Blues to Weather Report (sure miss Jaco - what a bass player). I have a 4 piece Blues/R'n B group. I've been rehearsing a new lead guitar player/lead singer for a couple of months now and we're just about ready for public consumption. We'll be doing covers initially but between the guitar player and myself, we've got lots of originals baking in the oven. I really love music. It's just about the most fun I can have with my clothes on :)
I have more interests than time. I've had 4 careers already and, who knows, there may be more to come. I love working with my hands (building things out of wood). I used to teach flying way back when. I worked as a civil engineer for a while (borrrrring). I've been a news junkie ever since Bush took (and I do mean TOOK) office. I'm monogamous and honest to a fault. Some people can't take that (even though they might say they do) but, it is what it is. So ask me no questions, I'll tell 'ya know lies. The truth is much easier to keep track of.
I'm looking primarily for an LTR but even that starts with a date. So, hope to see you out there in the pond  | |

Not to mention this site always lowers my self esteem.. It's not the "sites" fault, but I doubt they care. These women aren't looking for a knight in shinning armor, but a trophy. I don't know why I always frequent it when I'm single. I think this site might work better for older people idk. My generation is more hard core in a lot of way's and doesn't seem to act real or something, especially on the net... Well that's my theory. I've met like 5 girls from this site and they we're all kinda weird. They where kinda like those bar girls you meet who act like they've had sex with a billion guys, which is a big turn off. They didn't resonate innocence or true love, and seemed rather jaded for they're age. Well I'm always the optimist and a sucker for potential so I keep my profile open for statistical reasons :) Anyways to those of you with success stories more power to you. I'm looking for a beautiful intelligent woman that is still sweet and fairly innocent. If you are out there let me know please. I would love to show you a good time. | |

Posted: 4/26/2008 9:54:29 PM | I just wanted to say hello. I have been here before back a few years ago (a different username). The forums really helped me regain my sanity during a break up...... that may sound a bit strange, but it was so nice to get so many different opinions and see so many people in similar situations and get so many good laughs. Also to see that I am not in such a terrible situation and things could be much worse.
For over a year or so now, I have had my profile hidden and been off really due to a LT relationship. We are trying again and during our break up, I got on here again to "regain my sanity".
My profile review was true. It is short. But as I stated clearly on my profile, I am in a relationship. Even if I am just here for the forums, I should take some time out and elaborate about myself on my profile.
For now I will say I work as a forensic chemist and my favorite hobby is singing and playing the piano. I love to fix things also, have a knack for it and to do it all over again, I would have been a mechanical engineer. Over worked, stressed out, these forums really take me away.
It's not the jaded people on here that restore my faith....it's the good people. They still do exist and it's nice to know. And some are really so funny and witty. To others, I like to think sometimes a bit of advice may help. And for myself....sometimes it's my own advice I am giving as well as to the OP.

I am passionate about love and life.
