I am divorced, I don't remember any of their names, I just call them all plaintiff. I do have a name for my scoot, as well as other various and sundry items.A poem, actually it's part of a song. Roses are red and violets are purple, Sugar is sweet and so is maple surple. A better and slightly more complex piece for the intellectuals.

There isn't much of a bar scene (which I could care less about, but where can a nice guy find a nice girl except for online or mutual friends or work?). I do well in college but I'm bored and wouldn't mind meeting someone local - not loco - at least for a drink or deux.

I signed up for POF a couple of days ago and I'm just starting to browse the local forums. I've been on-line dating pretty furiously for a little over a month. What have I learned? The excitement of meeting a new boy every few days or so is fun ... but hectic. I've always been a very picky, straight-into-the-relationship girl, so the date-o-rama is my way of flipping the script. Taking a breather, now -- but do we ever really? ;)
I went to USF, became degreed, worked for a bank, quit the bank, worked for a local media company, got a national writing gig through the local media company and phased out my stay at the local media company.
Tampa/St.Pete is gravy, but in the interest of my life and career, I have designs on Chicago and San Fran. I'd add NYC, but that's the given. I'd add Montreal, but I'm not a Canadian National.
So, I'm talking smack on the forums and engaging in the e-mail thing with a couple of cool men (and like-minded women). I'm wary of hellos from people who have drive-by profiles and no presence on the forums. Just a warning.
Don’t get it twisted, though. When it comes to people, I'm democratic to a fault. I'm the middle child so it's my duty to like everyone, when I'm not in self-imposed isolation, that is. I'm most responsive to culture snobs who like to be outside ... and get dirty. Fellow outdoors-y folks with an urban aesthetic, if you will.
And I'm a geek. I obsess about things that cool people think are stupid. That's why they're nerds. But hey, it's all love.  | |
