| Hello Friends Posted: 2/14/2006 3:09:33 AM | | Hey stars... well.. since right now it's 23 degrees... I would have to say come up in the SUMMER!!! LOL.. I have canoed and kayaked all around up here, we have many rivers and lakes plus the beach and I admit the Sopchoppy River is my favorite, and not just because I live here but because it is just a really nice quiet river to go on. There are always sand bars to swim on.. there are hardly any motorized boats on the river to contend with. Maybe we should get a POF trip up here.. I have plenty of room for folks to camp at. | |

| Northwest florida Posted: 2/22/2006 9:29:23 PM | | Northwest florida is the prettiest part of the state and I'd like to meet a fun woman that likes to enjoy the clean lifestyle of coastal living. Check out my posted profile and let me know. | |

| Northwest florida Posted: 2/23/2006 4:21:47 AM | | Yes, it is beautiful there or was beautiful. That was before they built all those condos. Used to be able to drive from Destin to PC and stop and go right onto the beach. From P'Cola bch to PC Beach, you have nothing but condo's and snowbirds. Now, go a few miles inland and you have the good ole boys that have been there forever. | |

| Northwest florida Posted: 2/23/2006 12:30:47 PM | I lived in Ft Lauderdale for 11 years and grew up in CT before that. I do not care too much for this side of the state where I am currently. Or I should say I miss the beautiful beaches, the closest one here is in clearwater from what I have found and it is too touristy for me.. | |

| Northwest florida Posted: 2/23/2006 12:38:44 PM | Thinking about buying a small place in Brooksville. Yes, been there too. Not much in the form of beaches near you, but, not that far a drive to get to them. Now, the panhandle does have the best (white sand) beaches in Fla that I've seen. The best place would be between Navarre Bch and P'Cola Beach. Gulfshores National Seashore has a road through it and you just park and walk over the dumes and onto the beach. You'll find that you can have the beach to yourself. If you like it more crowded, go East from Destin to PC Beach. Also, Ft Walton Bch, Destin and PC Beach have more than enough watering holes and music. I'm stuck in Jacksonville where the 1st Baptist Church runs everything. I'm too liberal for this town | |

| Northwest florida Posted: 2/23/2006 2:01:54 PM | | Oh Cajun.. you KNOW our beaches over here on this side of FL are the most beautiful in the world.. you should move in this direction!!! the white sand... the beaches... plus all the forests and fun fun fun... lol | |
|
| Northwest florida Posted: 2/23/2006 2:09:16 PM | | Lived in Ft Walton Bch for 17 years. Got divorced there. Had to finally leave. That place is not big enough for me and the x-wife from hell. Even went to snow country to get away from her. Oldest daughter needed my help, so, I'm in Jacksonville now. Trying to tell her to move back to the Panhandle, but, it's hard to do since her youngest child is burried here. After I get them back on their feet, I'm gonna live for me LOL | |

| Northwest florida Posted: 2/23/2006 4:46:10 PM | Since my break up with my boyfriend of 4 years a few days ago, I am selling my house in brooksville and relocating closer to my sister in New Port Richey. Although it is a nice area, and I DO love my home, it is not good for single people and financially I just can't do it soooooooooo......off I go, was the plan anyway even before the break up since he needed to relocate to be closer to work. Maybe I will like it better down there shrug | |
