Posted: 10/23/2006 5:40:05 PM | Hi everyone! I have been in Florida for almost 2 years now. I came here to be with a woman from Peru that I got to know through a former penpal from Peru (who is now married and living here). I can't say I miss the cold weather in Ohio (west of Canton), where I am from. What I do miss is all of my family (mother, sisters and brother, their spouses, nieces and nephews, ect.) and friends that I left behind there. I think I do have some more distant relatives to the south of me, but I don't know them. I have never been married (engaged twice), and I have no children. I work for an outsource call center. I am also an ordained minister  (anyone getting married and need a minister?), and a member of the Mennonite Church (none in this area though). I am not your typical Mennonite though. I am also a Christian Naturist...and I know that there are other ministers who are Christian Naturists too. If you do not believe in Christian naturism too...that's fine with me...as long as you respect me and my beliefs. And that goes for other beliefs that we may not share. And I will do the same.
I would like to meet someone that would like to be friends, have fun together and enjoy spending some time together. And, then, we'll just see where it goes from there. Hope to hear from you soon! | |

Have gotten to know many great folks thru POF both via the forums and from direct contact. Sometimes all goes well, sometimes not. My opinion to you new folks to dating online is to not put all your hopes in this venue --- best have other activities outside of the internet to meet people you might want to get to know better -- to date. Online personals are just one way -- but POF is a good place to look and you can't beat the price.
Many good threads in the forums under different headings will answer questions you might have.
Oh, very important! Don't change the Subject line to go with your text. A real NO-NO!
Also, regarding the forums, be sure to read forum guidelines and rules before starting a thread topic of your own and in responding to topics.
Kent, in answer to your question, click onto the Forums.
Then click on the Profiles category.
At the top of this grouping are several GREAT profiles given as examples and ways to improve your own, if need be.
You can choose to have someone who is here just like yourself to review yours. There are a handful of folks who have been here for awhile, and who are really sharp and really good at profile reviews -- and who are kind in their opinions. Some others, however, can be ruthless... get acquainted with the forums first and how to do your profile-- the best place to start.
Good fishing to all -- have fun and don't get discouraged, there are some really fine people here if you give it some time and some effort. My opinion, of course.

I Currently live in Holiday lake estates but am hoping to find a new place of my own soon , I have a male room mate ( Just a room Mate) still single ,date once in a while, enjoy Dancing : Playing pool and darts,fishing ,movies and more, Hope everyone enjoyed their weekend and have a great week ahead
