I've been on here for a while doing everything but participating in writing blogs and forums. I've been invitied by my good friend Ellen to actively be involved in some of these POF parties and chill-out sessions commencing with some very special and talented POF members on this here website.

Wow!! I am so glad to see you come forward Richard. Everyone.. this young man is more mature than his age in intelligence, maturity, and sees the world that is in front of him and is doing all he can to be prepared for it. He is a very talented musician and has such a strong faith... great person to know and have as a friend.
I personally welcome you to POF and all that you can gain from great people in here! These forums are filled with great insight into some of those that frequent them.. I find that you can learn quite a bit about someone's inner being here.
I encourage everyone to find a POF Event and attend them.. you will be blessed with great friends and never know.. that illusive one that you are seeking just may extend that heart you have been waiting for!

Posted: 9/3/2007 6:52:34 AM | Hello everyone! I've been a POF member for a couple of months and really enjoy the site. I am going to my first POF party on 9/15 and I hope it is the first of many. I've been on a couple of dates with one POF member and we have formed a good friendship. Isn't that what this is all about? Making new friends and increasing the size of the pond you are fishing in. Eventually, two fishes will meet and the chemistry will be so great that they fall in love. Sounds good anyway! LOL Looking forward to meeting a lot of new friends this year! | Hello from Central Florida... from Merritt Island to Orlando :-)

I live on Merritt Island, but I spend so much of my leisure time in the Orlando/Oviedo area that I sometimes feel like I live there (especially during football season!).
It's UCF football season and life is good.

For about five minutes last year, I was a member of the Deep South Derby Dolls, but it never really got off the ground and is now defunct. If any other locals are interested in forming a roller derby league for this county, let me know!

My Profile says some about me...but to be polite I'll say some here...
I'm single and always have been. Due to some elements in my life I've "watched" the Dating Scene. No one wants to get past the cover...the few that have ... I just don't know what happen (being polite to them). I'm looking for a friends and TRUSTWORTHY folks to do stuff with. If in there a gal takes a liking to me...
will go from there, BUT at least we will both have a friendship to build on.

I've been in the Tampa area a couple of years now-divorced ~4 years now and have yet to meet many people-I think I've been working too much! I do have some really great friends, but it seems like they are all married.
So, I am really hoping to meet some fun cool people-particularly a great lady. Even if I don't find the right person to date I am the type that loves to make new friends also. Feel free to drop a line.
