| New to POF but not to Orlando

New to this site. Looking forward to a meet-n-greet party with POF in Lakeland this weekend. Born and raised in Orlando but lived about 8 years in Minneapolis in my late-20s to mid-30s, and now back in Orlando. Minnesota was nice, but Florida will always feel like "home" for me. Answer:
It depends first on what you expect to be a good looking guy because in my eyes they are all good looking.
2nd:
Think about what they right and what they are looking for and what do you say regarding there interest. for example: joe schmo likes hunting, camping, being outdoors working on cars ect.
Now what are your interest : shopping, tennis, the beach, dancing, dining out.
Well right now there is not a match.
Another thing to think about you cant expect them to have the same taste as you.
So keep trying.
My problem I have written to many and have asked good or bad please let me know what you think of my profile. And What kind of reply do I get (nothing) ok they looked its a good thing this site lets you know who looked. Still no reply so I move on NEXT try again. Oh well No expected this or any site to have all the answers after
all we didnt have dates when we joined this site so we get to peek at what is out there. Thats more than what we had when we started.

I'm a single Mom, work fulltime but still try to set aside time for myself. I'd love to go to that New Years eve party in orlando, but it looks like I wont beable to. :( It would be nice to hear about any casual day get togethers, barbecues etc.. Keep me posted. :)

coming up this weekend in Orlando....over 80 people are signed up to come and it's really a GREAT way to meet lots of people at one time..........we are blessed with a GREAT ORGANIZER in our area, Lady_d, and she always throws the best parties.......there will be lots of laughter, 
mingling, dancing, 
karaoke, collecting toys for the TOYS FOR TOTS program and a buffet. 
you can get all the info on the home page by clicking on the link at the top of the page. you can also see everyone who is signed up......and please do check out the forum.....it's also a great way to get to know some of the folks who are going to be there before the party..............
