Someone wiser than myself has suggested posting in the forum, not gonna mention any names, thanks Claire. LOL I am a 40 year old, divorcee with a 14 year old son. I have had custody for the last 8 years and this year he is going to live with his Mom in N. Carolina. This was not a problem, but has been planned for a few years. Kinda fishing for I don't know what, Long Term, Any term lol, not even sure what bait to use. This is all so new to me, we used to go somewhere to meet people, but I am starting to like this alot more day by day. Any pointers will be greatly appreciated.

I'm Randy. I live in Athens and am emerging from the haze of my Div last year.
I'm not interested in using anyone or being used, I'd like to make some on-line friends.
I've read a few of the forums and posted a joke a few days ago without realizing I should have introduced myself first, appologies....
I imagine that we are all here for the same basic reasons but are at infinitely different places in our journeys. I hope to find hope and a sense of belonging to a group of caring people who want to support each other as we search for our new relationships together. I love this idea of fish in a pond or ocean as we are all in the "same boat", aren't we? Anyway, I hope you'll allow me to be a part of the family.
