Things didn't go as expected! Joined here last week, but I was on here in early 2008 and summer of 2007. I'm back after match.com and eharmony.com did not work out for me! I've met quite a few from POF in the past, eharmony only resulted in one meet/match, and match.com only resulted in 2 meets, one of which I dated for 2 months and turned out she was still married! FAIL!

I'm now retired after working 30 years in a steel mill, and I'm getting lonesome. So I'm giving the online dating stuff another try. Maybe it will work again!

If you are from one of these counties(Madison or St Clair) you may want to keep an eye on the Missouri forums too. They have a bit more daily activity than ours do since we are so close! I am trying to offer get togethers for our area, hoping a lot of the St Louis area fishies are willing to swim across the Mighty Mississippi. I figure I have worked in the city since I graduated High School, most adults should be willing to venture over into Illinois to meet us and try out a few different places!
I am hosting an event at Sharkey's in Collinsville, Saturday April the 11th after 7 pm. I have a thread posted in the Illinois forums with the link. Check it out, sign up and show up! We would love to see you!
May 30th we are meeting at Crehan's in Belleville, hopefully we will go over to Sky View Drive in to pretend we are in High School and legally be allowed to drink!
