Posted: 6/18/2009 3:03:32 PM | Round 3, found my way back to POF. Started this whole dating thing in summer of 2007. Was here for a couple of months, nuked my account. Came back for a couple of weeks in 2008 or so, nuked my account. Back in 2009, it's been one week as of today.
I've been on match, eharmony, chemistry, .com, and dare I say - VERY VERY rarely, my ad would be pulled within hours - Craigslist (please don't do this, it's like scrawling your number on a bathroom wall!). I even coughed up the cash and did Highlife Adventures in Chicago which the second event playing volleyball at a picnic in fall of 2007 resulted in a blown out shoulder and SURGERY in March 2008! But as usual, I rise above it all ;-)
I would also like to assure you that think only crazy people are online, they are also out there in real life - if you meet them on the street, a bar, the mall, where ever it may be - they can be just as nuts as some of the people you meet online :-)
I have met some good people however, specifically a mirror of me (you know who you are if you are reading this).
Also, you will find most of the same people here on all of those other pay sites.
Oh, the good old days... pre-internet.... I think I might want them back. Okay no I don't, I love my Blackberry too much!
