I used to fly out of DuPage, but now i use Aurora's airport. I would like to find a lady that would like to site see with me. I do not do any stunt or arobatic flying. I am not certified for that. Im Hudsonbay 1960, but the system often confuses me with Hudsonbay64. I am built like a linebacker, 6' 210, Barrel chested, canoeist! I love to laugh so much I used to take both the Sun-Times and the Tribune just so I could have twice as many funnies ! That was pre-internet of course I came back from 10 years in Wisconsin to be close to Mom and renovate her house, now that she wants to sell it. I'm looking forward to putting in the garden this Spring, meantime I'm painting like there is no tomorrow !
Oh and I am owned by two cats, but I like any animal pet !! well... maybe not an ant farm.. | |

Posted: 3/9/2007 10:12:26 PM | | dale---i live further south now than the alton area but there used to be a singles group in your area several years ago but it never did work well but the internet now would improve the chances---suggestions for you or anybody else trying it would be that you keep it low key, with no pressure or expectations out of anyone except that they be friendly and try to have a good time making a special effort to say hi to everybody-----once a week is probably too often and weekends are difficult because people have other committments---sunday afternoon might work-----best bet might just be an event such as a dance open to public where the members would just show up----the group i mentioned actually wore a yellow or red note saying hi or something on them which let other members know they were part of the group looking to meet new friends---good luck | |

secroot you could check out meetup.com. Not to plug another place but they have lots of groups of people and it's quite fun if you are looking for something to do. I can't wait until the kayaking starts.

I am steve from you will know where if you read my profile. I am seperated have been for a year. That being said I have really only met a few people here, being sep. is a handi cap i don't care for, I was married 22 years, that should say alot, but i guess not.
I feel i am a decent man. I am thankful for many things one being here on pof.
Another one is meeting a woman in Canada, lives in Brampton. She has found someone she likes and i am very happy for her, if she reads this ,she will know who she is. If nothing else ever comes from being here I am happy i have her only as a friend, hope it lasts, she is a very nice person, hope he who ever he is that has her heart ,values a very nice person.
Another thing is i am shy to a fault, always have been, I hate it, but it is who I am.
Don't know what else to say, except i wear my feeling on my coat sleave. My friends have been my saving grace for many years, ask. I hate this dating stuff. sorry there are some misspelled words and i don't feel like looking them up. I have seen some profiles that say" I hate people who can't spell" wow. good weather is here and i need to get to work thanks steve | |
