I just found out I'm going to be spending a week in New Buffalo on business next month. I really hate sitting in my hotel room watching the idiot box. But going to a bar in a strange town alone isn't my idea of a good time either.
Any suggestions? I think I'm going to be there Nov 9th-14th.

My name is Ben. I'm a 48 state, OTR, longhaul, whatever(LOL), truck driver.
I live in Fort Wayne. My company is based in Noblesville. And our shop is down in Huntingburg, IN.
I'm actually not home much these days. I find it a lot easier to get thru Indy or southern Indiana. And I'm considering relocating away from Fort Wayne. To where, is unclear as of now.
I'm buying my truck and my manufactured home.
I have my own business and am making the necessary sacrifices now. So that, one day, I will either drive just local OR just run my business.
I love life on the road, but don't envision my "entire life" on the road.
I am, by no means, rich. But I am successful. Finances are always on the up-swing.....except for when the market takes a crap!
I'm a regular on the Forums and can be found there, pretty much daily or nightly. Sometimes, I can even be caught online while working!

Anyway.........if you're new here..............
