Posted: 11/20/2006 10:23:16 AM | Hi Everyone, I go by Velvet most of the time. I am a Kentuckian by birth, born waaayyy over in Pikeville in the gorgeous mountains. I was born when Main St really was still paved with those huge red/brown bricks. Second St was the entertainment capital of the county then as their were two movie houses. I am a mother of two chadults. I hate calling my adult offspring 'children' . So I coined the word 'chadults'. Don't forget---you heard that here first!!! The first born is male, 32-years old, a heavy wheeled vehicle mechanic having learned his trade while serving on our U.S. Army during the Bosnia conflict. My second born is female, 26-years old, a recent double bachelors college graduate, an accounting auditor and expecting her first child and my first grandchild.  I have been married 3-times to three very diverse guys and loved them completely and don't look back except for the knowledge that was gained. I have some health issues that slow me down physically  but don't stop my great sense of humor from running rampant.  Hey! Great now, let's go have fun. | |
