I've been at POF for quite some time. For some reason I never posted in the introductions before.
I've met several people from online. None from POF that I can recall.
I was a few weeks into getting to know someone from here via phone, e-mail, & IMs. The more I talked to him the more things I found that he was deceptive about, right down to lying on his profile & never took time to make the "typo" corrections. There was always a reason he was unavailable on the weekends. The more I talked to him, the more he desperately tried to convince me that he was in love with me. If I questioned him, he got angry. I should "trust him". There would be periods of time that he was unavailable, information that he slipped up on, etc.
Well,,,,,,,,,when confronted he opted to never contact me again because I didn't trust him. He was crushed & deeply hurt that I wouldn't trust him. Well, whatever, if you aren't truthful then you will be busted on that.
Anyway.....I'm not ready to give up. I want to be loved & have someone to love completely. I want to have fun. I want be fun. I don't mind driving once in a while. I don't mind being a few hours away from someone as long as we can work that out.

I've got a place in Lafayette and I have enrolled in the nursing program in Louisiana Techinical College (LTC). But I don't have really anyone to hang out with... and I'm not one that is hip on the bar scene. Due to my past I tend to relate more with females more than males so more of my friends are females than males.
