Posted: 4/27/2006 5:30:30 PM | I'd just like to say, so far plenty of fish has got me  with no results so far. I've had a few and chat and e-mail exchanges, and no people added me to their favorites since I started back in December. Then again, my needs may seem esoteric. Very little music past 1980 really interests me, except some music scores. The problem is the dynamics of a lot of music makes it hard to tell what people are singing, or hear any melodies. Of course in Jazz and Classical that is not such a problem, and Reggae. So call me old fashioned, but at least I know the roots of all good music.
Overall though, I'm a intellectual generalist, and like being around people to share their company, and learn from them. I'm learning how to become more sociable. Though I'm not a club/party type person.
With few platonic friends going nowhere fast, it would be really nice to find someone who I can move the next step with! If you are interested, please send me a message when I can IM you, and we can get talking. | |

Posted: 11/2/2006 3:37:09 PM | Back again to introduce myself. I thought I had before. Looks like before I last signed off. Anyway, got season tickets to Strathmore with WPAS and National Symphony Orchestra, and would like to meet some people who are here locally. I'd say this much, I'm enjoying hiking nearly every weekend, and will be traveling abroad from the 12th through the 22nd for vacation. You can find out more about me by looking at my profile.
I also volunteer at many Single Volunteers for DC events.
And I've got an extensive movie collection on DVD for those interested in watching great flicks!
What would you find your best way to meet people in this area?
