Hey one and all, the self appointed smart ass is here and finally posting. So watch out!
I have to first say a warm hello to Amy, not sure why but I figure if I dont she will hurt me... Growl!
Im Steve... Fred... Guss.. No wait.. Im Julius Caesar! Ha. Nope just me Steve.
I reside in Saginaw and yup, I hate it, but here I am anyways. I look forward to chatting with many of you, and oh the comments I would have on some of the posts here. LoL

Hi! I'm Kelly, otherwise known as SarahJones1970 here on POF. I have gotten to know a few people through get-togethers and forums on this site. I am a single mother of three aging from 11-18. I have never been arrested for anything. I have never done drugs. I don't smoke. I drink socially. (But I hate beer!) I love amusement parks, music, dancing, and karaoke. I'm very much a people-oriented person. I am currently a process server part time. I will be turning 38 in June. (What else do you want to know?  ) I have a pretty bubbly personality and I'm pretty good at talking to complete strangers on pretty much any subject. I have been guilty of breaking a heart or two in my day, but we all make poor choices occasionally. (Not sure if the poor choice was the guy or the breaking up option) lol. So , I use a lot of smileys and icons and I tend to put things in "quotes" to express myself and I tend to use a lot of .................dots and leave thoughts open as I am generally still thinking of what I really want to say and I'm never really without a thought. Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Thanks! I'm done now. Hopefully we can get this ball rolling and everyone can have a blast when we all finally get together.        | |

Several people would like to get POF members together for coffee.
I am willing to facilitate it and do what I can to get it started.......Place, time etc? Coffee chats or pot lucks..... picnic ....? All POF & friends are welcome!
I think it would be a refreshing change! Intelligent conversation, meangingful friendships, sharing our world with others & MUCH laughter!
I started an international dinner party where everyone made a ethnic dish and we dined by candle light. There was about 30 of us. Great food, conversation, music and the guys played chess and we had other things that kept everyone engaged. It was really a great time and good friendships made.
Then I moved and we have not had a place to hold them since.
Everyone has been asking me to start again. Maybe if someone had a club house at an apartment complex available we could get them going again. ...? Maybe rotate cities even with other POF members? Many possibilities!
All food for thought! Give me your thoughts / ideas!

meet and mingle events are a nice way to get to see some of these people who may not give us (who live in rural or far away areas ) a glance....I just think any oportunity for fun and friendship is always a plus...meeting and being open to meeting new friends is a wonderful thing...I see many are pretty much like me...decent people who just happen to be single...I hope to make it to some of the pof events...I would love to meet some of the nice folks that i read posts and profiles from. Have many interests,mountain biking,camping,art,music,dancing.
Interested and active in folk music and contra dancing in southeast mi.
Been hanging out in the forums lately,staying close to home this summer,haven't traveled much this summer due to gas prices and other expences.
Looking forward to reading the forums,and attending a few POF get togethers this fall.
