So I just moved to Detroit less than a week ago, and I have never been to Michigan before. I just finished up my B.A. at the University of South Florida in Tampa and now I am volunteering for a year with AmeriCorps. I think being involved in the community is important, and I am currently looking for other ways to get involved as well. Lets see, I enjoy going to museums, taking walks, eating ice cream, sports, meeting new people, and trying new things. I enjoy learning about other cultures, history, and more, but prefer hands on learning. Anyways other than my job I really don't know anyone, and am looking to meet some cool people to hang out with. I am new to this whole forum thing, but I do check my messages so feel free to say hi! I am looking forward to a great year in Detroit!

Hoping to get to know some of you better. My name is Gina, I'm 38, no kids/divorced. I recently moved to Decatur Mi from the South Bend area. I'm looking for someone who doesn't have dating ADD...meaning your attention is pulled in different directions because you want to date the whole state at once and can't concentrate on just one woman lol. I am a radiologic technologist working in Sterling Heights. I am not a religious person, and I found a quote that I thought summed up my feelings on that subject: "True religion is the life we live, not the creed we profess." - J.F. Wright. I have a healthy obsession with Rick Springfield. People think I'm hilarious, and I do crack myself up sometimes :)
The man I'm looking for has a great sense of humor also. He is 30-48 years old, wants kids, and doesn't live a million miles away. I don't ask for much except a good job, goals, and ambition, but I am by no means a gold digger...I make my own money so I don't need anyone to take care of me except me.
