I am here for a simple reason...I can put it all out front and spell out what I am looking for. If I find her, she can see it and decide for herself. No games, no misunderstandings, no headaches.
I am seperated few quite some time now. I see my children every chance I get. I work as a chef, anywhere from 60 to 100 hours a week, depending on customer load and catering jobs (which I do on the side). I am 5'8, 190lbs of Marine. I have been out for 6 years now but STILL look good in my Dress Blues. I work out whenever time allows it.
I speak Spanish and Italian, with a good smattering of Greek and French. Well read. Knowledgeable of the arts, love ballet, and can't wait for SlipKnot to play the area again. Yes...I am truly ecclectic. I like to think of it as a Rennsaisance man. Well rounded.
What I want...that is not too hard to explain, but good luck finding it...
I want a woman that understands both the work habits of a chef and the menatality of a Marine. She has to appreciate dating an Executive Chef that loves to cook for her. Someone that cares about their health and appearance, yet can eat the cannolis that I made end enjoy them with no guilt. Must be feminine and not smoke. Other than that, I am so open minded I will talk to anyone.

I have a great sense of humor and seek the same. Born in Jersey I grew up in California - NYC is still an interesting adventure for me; I still consider working there instead of here.
I know of many activities going on around here or in the city - I went to 2 Pop/Rock concerts in the Chelsea area just this past month.
I don't seem to meet any single women between the ages of 34 and 44 - I don't even see them. Is everyone married or away in Northern New Jersey?

I'm a divorced mom of two teens, one in college and one to go. when I'm not wearing my cape and tights I'm busy with my own company of purses that are worn around the waist- think fanny pack alternative here- and running some ecommerce sites as well. I've two dogs that keep me active- well, that add to my activities because I also rollerblade, horsebackride, kick box, step class n weights, run, oh just about anything that doesnt involve jumping off a bridge or out a perfectly good airplane.
oh yea, and I'm 45.

I have found there are many, many people on this site who would go to a get together
