No I'm really not (denial lol) I'm actually just really busy. During the week I work ludicrous hours and even though I love my job, I am usually in a hotel rather than home on weeknights. It just makes sense that if I'm trying to find someone, I shouldn't limit myself to two bars/clubs a weekend. In one city. In one state. for 4-8 hours a week on weekends.
So I joined for practical reasons and I look forward to meeting some great friends and hopefully more.

I'm a single, latina mom with two kids. I've been on this site for a few months with no luck, I guess being a single mom might scare most men. I'm 5' tall, 190lbs, loving, compassionate, love to read (Dean Koontz), go camping (we camp New York Style - in a trailer lol) go to the movies, dinner, and my favorite passtime is harrassing my kids.
Does a man exist than can appreciate a good, strong woman who can stand on her own but still wants someone to lean on?

I have met some people's or been in the forums and they are interesting on what topics come up, like this one. my biggest thing when it came to dating or the whole age thing is that people say it's just a # well it should. most people get so worked up over the fact that this person is older then them. my g/f was a yr older than me. i'm told that most guys my ag over 40 have a tendency to date younger women. there is this church that I just started going to. there is this perticular gurl there very outgoing kind sweet. considerate of others. that is what got me bout her, just her character. they way she carries herself. now being that I'm older, there are many young gurls that I was attracted to. but never got involved with. | |

I went to breakfast with a 33 year old woman whom I guess found me very unattractive as she got up and walked out of the restaurant before 5 words could be spoken. It was not really upsetting to me as she was no knockout by any means, but to be turned away like that really gave a blow to the ego. Was she correct in what she saw or am I not seeing something?
