I hear your what you are saying, and the options can be over whelming. You have to look at the big picture. The military is great, but it slows you down from getting to the final product. If you can go to college now do it. If you need the cash to help pay for it, yes join the military and let them pay for you education then get out. I'm sure you boyfriend will be supportive now matter which way you choose. Fort hood has some excellent colleges too. So What is will you major in and why? That will make a difference too.
