It's different than it was in my 20's, that's for sure!! I live about an hour and a half east of columbus, in a small area. I look forward to possibly attending one of the events soon ;-).

Posted: 6/22/2007 6:46:01 AM | Hey hey everyone! I'm Alex and I'm 28 years old... I reside in the suburbs of Columbus. I'm a shift lead at work and I work 12 hour nights with rotating weekends from 7 pm to 7 am, that plus meetings and things keeps me pretty busy. When I do have free time though,I love going out and having a good time with friends, either out doors during the day or downtown night life... I'm up for anything really. I would say I'm a pretty social person and know a diverse range of people which helps to keep things interesting.

Any way, I plan on starting to post in the forums and hopefully I'll get to know more cool people from around my area.

Anyway, my name is Tami. I'm a soon to be 50 yo (YES, the big 50 in 12 days!), mother of two grown children and one not yet born grandson, who loves life and everything in it.
I've been on POF for about a month now and have completely enjoyed it! Lots of great people on here - am planning on attending some of the events they have listed (the pics of past ones are really great!).

Posted: 7/6/2007 11:24:05 PM | Hi all, I'm Tony. Fairly new to POF. Currently I'm a truck driver for a company based out of Cedar Rapids, Ia. However, I am looking for something in Ohio. My current company has me on the road for 4 weeks, then off for 6 days. I'm not liking that much time away from home.
I'm here on POF to meet new people and hopefully land the big catch.
I like the idea of the social events, and will try to make it to some soon. In the mean time, drop me a line if you wanna chat/meet/get married/buy a house/have a few kids(am I being too forward?)

Posted: 7/7/2007 3:53:13 PM | Well I'll soon be 48 which isn't all that bad. I grew up on a farm in northwestern Ohio and I would still be farming if I hadn't broke my neck in July of 1981. I tried to continue on the farm but as I grew older it became more work then the job its self. Plus getting run over by a sow while in my wheelchair didn't help much either. At least I tried and can laugh at those days. Even now when I look back I can still laugh at myself.
These days I build custom PC's for friends and family and I'm learning a new trade, web design...pretty cool stuff if you ask me. I think you're never too old to learn some new things and experience things you may have never considered in the past.

I'm John, a 48 year old whom acts 20's or 30's. Have met many friends during the few months of POF and enjoy all of the events and friends that I have met. Love you guys/gals. This site is the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. Puckers and Luckys events are owesome. Maybe one of the friendships can develop into something long-term   . Otherwise, I'm enjoying wonderful friends and hope to make new ones as well. My profession is on the Technical side and Weather. I am very active and am searching for the same in a mate. If anyone wants to get a game of football, softball, volleyball, golf, bowling, cornhole, hoops, pool, fishing, nature hiking, dancing, amusement parks, concerts, or just a walk in the park ~ send me a message and if I am available, I will be glad to take part in the activity.
