Posted: 6/20/2005 12:07:47 PM | I have tried not to be too cynical about using a dating site. I have been absolutely honest about being a plus sized lady. I don't have a scanner so my picture hasn;t been uploaded yet. My friends tell me I am pretty and I know I am ok. I usually have a great sense of humor...but I am getting a bit discouraged. The few replies that I have received are from people that are interested in immediate gratification (sex of course) and are either married or in a relationship. At age 58, I had hoped that men would be a little more receptive and open to a classy lady that loves to smile and might love their smile. I certainly am not deperate, but I would like to meet someone nice to dance with or talk with. What should I do? Oh, yes, I joined a website for large women, but I wasn't LARGE enough for them....Sorry to be dumping during my intro, but I am genuinely befuddled and disappointed that men can not seem to take a chance.....: | |

I like to bowl, listen to music, play guitar, catch a movie every now and then, and a lot of my time is spent with my daughter who will turn 5 in august. I'm ready to bring someone new into my life so long as they match well with me as well as with my daughter. She is an important part of the deal!!!!!
I'm a friendly, down to earth kind of guy who doesn't ask for much other than being there for me the same as I am there for you.

I have both ears at double zero, my septum and lebre are both at 14. People ask me all the time if I am going to let my kids get into lightweight body mod just because I like it, and the answer is hell no. I had to wait till I was an adult and so will they.
Anyway I am no Brad Pitt so it is sometimes hard for me to dig up the courage to flirt when I’m out at the bar or something, and so I’m here. I am fairly confident that I will not be finding my soul mate online so I am hoping to meet friends and not so much more.

Posted: 7/6/2005 12:44:22 AM | | Hello one and all lets start a event here in ohio called fishin festival itll probably take at least two months of planning and some work ive organized events kinda like this but hopefully it will be the biggest if anyone that reads this knows of any property that is rentable for at least two days kinda like the crystal forest in garrettsville ohio im checkin that right now that place can hold up to 2000 people id be willing to help admin set this up and get things started anyone willing to participate throw in some ideas whatever post them on the board or send them to me we can make this happen imagine having a karaoke contest, several different club tents, dating games on stage whatever we can think of would be awesome and plenty of space for us all to sleep err i mean party and get to each and everyone and we could do it every year just to have something to do i mean theres really nothing goin on in september and for the ones who dont have quality transportation we can set up different rides in each area of ohio to get you there well let me know what you think | |
