I'm Ahmi. Hope to meet many of you at some of the Ohio events. I have gone to one so far, the Fat Tuesday Party at The 356th Fighter Group in North Canton. It was super fun. Everyone was very nice and friendly. It was not a meat market at all,  just good people getting together in a safe environment to mingle and have fun. I do have to say, I absolutely HATE** to have fun. I oppose it in all forms. So for those of you who introduce yourselves in your profiles as being someone who loves fun, I'm definitely not for you.

I've lived in Cleveland about 5 years now, I moved up here from the New Orleans area and took some time to get settled.
It wasnt too hard in some respect...I took a look at the Browns and compared it to my Saints and figured i could transfer wholeheartedly my annoyance that neither of them cant seem to make it to the Bowl...ever.
Then i looked at the weather. Back home, it rained, and was hot. here it rains and is cold. This isnt a big problem as my umbrella still works and if im cold i can always wear another layer. if im hot, i just have to sweat and bear it.
Anyway, I'm 35 years young but certainly dont feel it. I'm a bit quiet at first. I've always had a problem walking up to a stranger and do small talk when I have no idea what to say to someone i dont know. This of course tends to be a problem meeting people.
Thanks to the internet however, my words can go from my fingers to the screen, bypassing my brain filter that makes me nervous, so I can get to know you guys a bit here and make any meeting less of an anxiety attack.
I hope to attend one of your parties soon. | |

I am pretty new on this site -but I have lived in this area all my life.
I am the proud Mom of a grown son -who is the joy of my life. It's been him and me for a long time and believe me that scamp has kept me plenty busy *smile*
But now -I have time for myself and I am looking for someone to share that time with.
I want to try some new things, get out and go places and all the stuff that I have not had time for in a very long time.....
