Posted: 9/2/2006 3:44:34 AM | | It is the second day of September, and already there is a crisp coolness in the air, the birds arent singing early in the morning, the flowers are starting to die and it is getting dark just a little bit earlier now, I guess we should say goodbye to the fun-filled days of Summer and hello to the colorful beautiful days of Autumn. Hoping to find that special man who will accompany me to all the fun times that October has to offer, Octoberfest, Pumpkin show, bon fires, walking through the local park, holding hands and listening to the leaves crunch under our feet. Going to Peters farm market for hot apple cider and fresh baked pies and doughnuts, traveling for miles to find the perfect pumpkin, only to bring it home carve a silly face on it and sit it out on the step until it begins to shrivel. The Holidays are right around the corner, I dont know about everyone else, but I dont want to spend them alone! | |
