complected and originaly from Nebraska. I live in Portland, working on my GED than plan to go
onto college. I enjoy movies, camping, cruisin in the country and site seeing. I like all types of music but prefer to listen to country/ slow jams/ some blues and a lil christian music. I'm
very down to earth and not lookin for a one night stand. I mostly wanna find kool people and just see where it goes. I like just hangin out and what you would consider to be a very kind,

But, I live in Salem and looking for a female to meet someday, hopefully soon.. Mostly, looking for someone to maybe live with me, in 2 years from now.. Ummm, I'm a kind friendly person, easy and being me.. I sometimes get into a goofy mood and get weird, but that norrmal.. I'm a cool person, I'm 41 and getting older.. Because age never stops.. | Outdoors, educated, want to be a dad to kids
Posted: 10/11/2005 3:11:30 PM | Hi there, I travel a lot, going coast to coast in the next couple months, I'd love to meet up grab a bite, talk some and maybe go dancing. If you can't dance I can teach anybody to two step in 15 seconds. My travel this time is to pick up ebay items and visit family but I always work a little exploring into my trips, Know any good trails I need to see, or muesems that are a must, let me know. My plans are Oregon, MSP, Arkansas, NJ, Connecticut, Florida and all the states in between. I don't mind detours to meet a possible future Ms Right. Send me a howdy do, I respond to everything. I'm not one of those that gets 100 emails a day, LOL. I waiting to hear from you where ever you are. Jon

Posted: 3/12/2006 11:47:44 PM | Just saying hi. 'Introducing' myself. I've tried meeting people online before, but met someone who wasn't totally honest and it failed. That threw me for a while. But, I'm at a point that I want to try it again. I'm a 30 year old single dad in bend. I've been single for a little over 5 years now. I've mostly dedicated my life to my son and to getting my life in order. Unfortunately, the whole getting my life in order thing went by the wayside a bit ago. But, I'm back on track again, and with so many things finally seeing resolve, I find myself in the position again where my mind's not bogged down with stress and other issues and I remember that - I'm single!! HAHA. I am not fond of being single, I was raised by women, taught to care and love and respect women as equal partners and thus, I enjoy their company. I am also a HUGE talker. I always have thoughts and ideas I want to share. The hardest part for me is finding someone with similar interests, joys, loves and most importantly: an equal sense of humor. I'm a bit dark and sadistic with my humor. Nothing 'mean', just a lot of cynicism I've developed over the years. I think if you can laugh with someone - you can share their loves, their hates, tolerate their shortcomings and have them tolerate yours! I know I have a lot of things in life I'm still figuring out. Hopefully, I can meet someone who is patient and loving and willing to share our goods and bads together. I do believe in friends first! The frustrating part: I love to hold hands, be romantic, goofy, kiss, laugh, tease and be intimate. Not physical - there is a difference. At my size, most people are scared by me, and in this day and age, I've become very shy due to that. I like to make people smile and be happy, not make them afraid. So, another huge obstacle is getting to meet people when you have to be excessively shy. *sigh*
Oh well. Hopefully this is another great opportunity to meet someone. In the end, I believe in love, marriage, romance and all that great stuff. But, I'm not afraid to work for it as long and as hard as I need to! I am not wealthy (nor will I ever be.. most likely!), and although I like to take care of the people I love, I want to meet someone who wants to share that with me. Currently, I'm helping out family members and am sort of the central support for my family, but only because I've been single and haven't had a reason to change that. Oh yeah, and whomever I should be graced enough by God to fall in love with as much as they fall in love with me - has to know, that my beautiful, little, red-haired buddy is very much an integral part of my life. I believe children come first (in the bigger scheme of things). I would need to meet someone who can love children as much as I do. They're an awesome gift! And, at the same time - they're a great big pain that's well worth it!!!

I've been a part of this site for a little while. Just recently found the forums, mostly have been sticking to the Religion threads and just found the oregon forum. Moved to Eugene in november and absolutely love the surrounding areas of the city. I'm 24, and a Celt. Unfortunately I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for on here, but that will become apparent in its own time.

I like watching sports--base-, basket- & football. Learning about golf & took lessons a while back. Interested in watching the less televised sporting events, but they are so hard to find. ESPN is not helping much :P. Archery, Highland Games, Strongest Man/Woman, etc.
Pool, darts, shuffle board--bar games are fun. I am not so much into the bar scene, but where else can you find these games.
Like movies, plays, ballet, musicals, concerts, dance, alternative stage, drumming, & orchestra. Awaiting my first opera.
Want to explore outdoor activities. Have lived a sheltered, city life. Miss my semi-country roots. Have not been camping since 1982. I would suck at Survivor :D.
