I live in gorgeous Bend, Oregon. Talk about beautiful! I am single (of course) and moved here in June. I work in transportation and go to school full time. Keeps me busy!
I enjoy exploring this great little town and also going to Sisters. Lots of places to walk, shops, etc.

I'm fairly new to this site and I discovered the forums a little while ago. I'm 54 a nurse and feel caught between two worlds. Why?
Well I am a Southern Oregon born, lived there most of my life besides a couple years in CA and a couple in Arizona. I moved her to Beaverton 2 years ago and have yet to meet and make any friends. It's a big world up her in PDX land as they call it!
It's too bad that you can't choose the distance that you want to meet people further than 100 miles, because I'm moving back to Southern Oregon in a couple years as my mom is getting fragile and it's Pay back time.. No .. No.. I don't mean that in an ugly way..  I just want to do right by the wonderful woman that gave her best to me.
Ive been married a few times. One long 15 yr one and two short less then 2 yr impulsive ones after the first... Hey.. at least I'm honest about it! And now I'm in no hurry, and I bet you can understand why. Some people just don't give up! They call us tenacious.
My profile says it all.. maybe too much  but It might be a good read for some!
I have a great sense of humor, I love Oregon.. after all I am a native and proud of it!
It's been fun to discover the forums and see other's points of view.
Happy fishing to all of you... Hey! I do fish, for reals.. but none of that catch and release stuff.. I like to fry my trout up in a skillet with bacon over the campfire.. | |
