I'm 50 years old, legally separated for good (not sure anyone is willing to spend the $$ to change that to a divorce).
I was born in Columbia and came upstate to attend Clemson University, and never went back to the greater heat and humidity. Now I'm in the Berea area of Greenville.
I'm a totally harmless person, unless hugs are toxic to you.

Anyway Just Joe, I saw your comments and must agree with you. I posted some comments about that this evening. Seems that most of these ads here are nothing more than a tease. Sure there are a few real, serious women, but both of them live someplace far away and already get 100 messages a day. For the rest of us, I think we have to get used to mediocre results here just like everywhere else. Sad, but true. I think the fake ads and the people who are "looking for friends to hang out with and have fun" are a huge problem with internet dating sites. I have no trouble meeting friends locally here, I don't need to place a personal ad to do it. Besides, few of the people I meet through these things are actually serious. Friends usually CARE about each other, and many of the ones I've met here so far haven't asked me a single question. Some friends! | |
