I'm hannaH. I'm originally from Virginia Beach, Virginia, but my parents wanted to be closer to their family in Kentucky and Alabama and so i ended up in Sevierville, TN. I honestly hate it here. Its a big culture shock. In Virginia i was used to hanging out with mostly black people and before i got here, i'd never heard of so many racists. I've been dancing for over 10 years. I was disapointed to find out that this part of Tennessee doesn't seem to know what real hip-hop is.
Anyway, i'm really just looking for a cool christian dude to hang out with, or maybe just chat online to. In Tennessee all i seem to find are the christians who are only "christian" on Sunday.

I just wanted to introduce myself and say hi to everyone in the big scary world of dating.
My name is Mark and I'm a 33 year old artist living in Morristown TN. I have to openly admit that I am very, very nervous about getting into the dating scene again. I had never really dated much before I got married in 1997. I was divorced in 2002 (I think...) and my ex-wife and I have been close friends ever since. I am glad to have not parted ways with ill feeling towards each other.
So here I am now, 2005, and I have been trying to muster up the courage to get back on the wagon and date a little. Or at least begin talking to women again. That's scary because the world of dating is a mine field that comes with its own 20,000 pound rule book with its millions of clauses and loop holes and sudden death rules-of-engagement addendums.
I never know the right thing to say.
I always stick my foot in my mouth.
I never know what to talk about.
I always talk about boring things.
I don't live in the same reality everyone else does...
I don't have the best clothes.
I don't drive the best car.
I make practically no money.
BUT, I like to make people laugh and I can make a Grade-A fool out of myself more often than I care to. But when it's in the name of getting people to loosen up and have a little bit of fun with themselves, it's okay. I hope. Sometimes I think I can be a bit too much of a screwball.
I might as well be 15 again and going out on my very first date again. Because this is what that feels like. I haven't been able to shake being nervous about dating.
I really look forward to making new friends here at Plentyoffish. So, hello everyone!
