I know some of ya already, but just keeping the thread rolling along, as intros are always a good thing to help newbies get their feet wet and warm up a little. Having been here 2-3 months I guess, I'm not really a newbie anymore. 
I used to run the MSN BBS called TennesseeOver30 for a time, among a couple of others. Some of you might have visited there. Was lots of fun with some great folks from around the State. Largely just a social gathering place with interaction and announcements of local happenings. Nothing like this though.
I'd like to say Welcome to everybody who's posted here from the area. Keep in mind our Middle Tennessee Meet & Greet get-togethers which happen about once a month. Great Fun for All. Hope to see you there!

Just moved into Tennessee about a month ago to be closer to family, Mom/brother/nephews been here a month now and looking forward to talking to and getting to know all these friendly and helpful people I've been told so much about. I've been a part of POF for a while now talked to a few nice folks never met though but always looking forward to meeting everyone!
A short bit about myself, Single never been married nor in very many relationships so I guess I'm not real jaded yet  Been in the pet buisness for about a year after going to school for just the opposite (Computer tech work) and now really just in search of friends and someone who can be a special focus for me so hey feel free to email me I'm told I'm pretty good at listening  | |

I'm Bruce, 58, retired, and live alone with 3 small pets in habitats in a nice rural area in the north central part of the state. The nearest small city is Athens, Alabama, a few miles to the southeast. I'm easy going, the jeans, t-shirt, and sneakers type who dresses for comfort, and like living in the rural area with nature around me. I like looking at thrift stores, sometimes pawn shops, and a flea market now and then. I'm quite handy and can take care of most fixing needed around the home and on my vehicles, like to make and repair things.
And ladies, I even even know how to turn on and use a vacuum cleaner, load and run a dish washer and clothes washer and drier, and even know how to thread and use a sewing machine, both electric and treadle types!
