Hey, I'm actually a nice person. :) I don't really believe in trying to impress someone, but present myself the way I am. For the time being I'm just looking for someone to exchange emails with for a while, and then if we get comfortable with each other phone numbers and then a person-to-person meeting. So don't be put off by my often blunt replies to things in the forums, it's just me being my usual outspoken self.

I just moved to Norfolk, VA from Philadelphia, PA.
I am a very single father of one.
Attractive; or at least people seem to think so. lol.
I have a profile on this site as JahDread, it also has a picture of me on there when I had dreadlocks. I don't have them anymore.
I have various interests that range from writing poetry to cooking, going bowling to shooting pool. I'm flexible and open-minded.
I must admit that my responsibilities come first though; so if we can't go out, would you settle for a night in with movies? and me cooking dinner?

Posted: 6/19/2005 4:39:15 PM | Hi everybody, ive been here in the Roanoke area for 2.5 years now and I must say its all a bit strange, most of the people I see on plentyoffish are still there and looking I looked when I first got here then got into a relationship for 18 months (not from plentyoffish) and now find myself single again, I look at plentyoffish and see loads of people and have even atempted to contact some of them but to no avail, it seems no one has the curtosy to even reply and say no thanks.
I think we should try to organise some sort of monthly get together to get people out of thier shells and start to mingle, somewhere thats not overpowering and where ladies especially can feel at ease so if anyone thinks this is a useful and valid idea and has ideas how this could work please get typing and lets see if we cant get some happy people back on the road.
Pictures can lie and so can non descript people at a computer, face to face in company is a diferent game and should help as you can form real opinions from a real person.
