I've noticed that most of the men near my age in VA have already checked out my profile and passed me by.
I figure it might be one of several things:
Weight? Wheel chair? No mention of wanting sex right away? ( )
Ummm can't be bad breath.
Don't have a "dressed up fancy" photo? Unable to ride a motorcycle any more? (giggle)
Afraid I won't enjoy 'just' watching you rock climb? Think my chair might roll off your boat? (this is fun! ~laughing~)
Think I'll demand too much "disabled" attention? (Nope, I'm very independent)
If it's the "drink socially".. my definition of that is a drink every now and then with friends. I NEVER get drunk. < now THAT might be the reason! LOL
Ummmmmm, hmmmmmm, hair too long? LOL, I'm running out of things.
My profile doesn't say I sometimes wake up wanting coffee and no conversation for 10 minutes, so it can't be that. I laugh too much? I know! Afraid I'd roll over your foot?

I have been active in the GA forums since becoming a member of POF, and am looking forward to making friends and meeting new people in VA. I am also originally from Va Beach, and graduated from Green Run High School in 1983, so I won't be completely unfamiliar with the territory.
I am looking for suggestions and/or networking suggestions for employment in the area. Any correspondence would be greatly appreciated.

Entropyh, there are a LOT of volunteer opportunities here, I'm sure you can find somewhere to spend your time. There are a lot of good programs, shelters, activity centers that need volunteers.
As for outdoors, I think a POF Virginia biking and picnic get together might not be a bad idea. Why don't you organize that and buzz me when it's ready. Chop chop! | |

to enter her life not to hurt her or abuse her but to let her know I am there when the hurts come and the joys also, to laught with her just to give her a taste of what life should really be like between friends and lovers this a one time thing that only comes maybe a few times in our lifetime. She is the only one who will complete him.
But this must take time for TRUST is not an overnight thing, it is accomplished only by the learning process (her learning about him and him about her)
Can this be more than a dream? yes I know it can and hope to prove this to the right lady in time, I am not in a hurry!!! | |
