Posted: 12/27/2007 9:56:09 PM | Allow me to take this opportunity to introduce myself to all of you school-mates (as in "School of Fish", of course  ). My log-in name, Prodigal One, is a tip of the proverbial hat to sweet home Alberta, from which I've been gone from for far too long.
Should anyone actually look at my profile blarney you'll see I wax rhapsodically about my home province - I blame it solely on one too many single malts and some rather extenuating circumstances. Not here for romance per se, but an ambiguous personal situation where I find myself relocating and it’s not certain if the two, which became one, will become two again plus a lurk on the forums compelled me sign-up.
I tend to find myself attracted to the political and philosophical threads, but the Alberta crew seems a good bunch and might accept my two bits. 
I look forward to posting with you and would be thrilled to make friends whilst at it.

Hey hey hey! I am looking to meet friends of either sex,and would be interested in just being freinds but at the same time my man is away and I am faithful to him but he is ok with me wanting some good times with a sexy girl. But no men, so please don't offend me and try to go there, cause it'll only piss me off. I do like guys though and would love to meet some cool new boys. I really like hanging out with guys cause they are way more lax then girls, but I'm down for chillin with chillin girls too so long as they are not uptight and all that. I like easy going people who like to laugh, and don't judge people but learn to love them for who they are. So long as they are pure in heart, I don't dislike anyone. I think its very important to be your self, unless your self is ahter on others then I don't even have the time.
I'm not all one color you know. I love watching hockey and I am starting to get into football too. I love going to the club and dancing, chilling with my boys (or girls) and just laughing. I love stand up comedy and I love south park, both for the same reason. It's funny cause it's blunt and true. My kind of world. I laso like classic rock,like Beatles Zeppelin, Pink flloyd, Aerosmith, Motley Crue, CCR, and newer stuff Nirvana, System of a down, Some hip hop is good, butit all depends what I'm feelin that day.
I am very open sexually, spiritually, and conversation wise. I love kink and passion is my middle name. Girls, I can be sweet or dirty, however you want. We can play games or get straight to it... I don't care, so long as were both in on it. I am a non judgemental person and I respect every walk of life, wheather they be gay, straight, cross dressing, black blue or orange, I love and respect everyone who can love and respect them selves and hopefully other people as well. I belive in karmma, whether you are punished directly or not I don't know, but when you do good things and think good thoughts they become realaity and if you go around trying to hustle others, well that will all come back to you one way or another. I don't know why or how, I just know it will. Thought's become things so pick good ones.

Posted: 2/3/2008 11:58:17 AM | I was trying to think of what to write here as introduction to the world that is me, and came up with my reasons for coming to POF...
I like being single, I really do . Please don't think I'm saying this because I'm trying to convince myself it's true, like some sniffly middle-aged woman who has never had a boyfriend and has resigned to a life of loneliness, nor am I saying this as someone who has been dumped one too many times and hisses every time a guy walks by. I only hiss at specific guys, jeez.
I am saying this because I love being single. It's just that I only feel this way about 90% of the time. That other 10% has a way of really biting me in the ass, and making me realize that I am missing out on all the fun that comes with having the right man!
I miss sunday mornings, being lazy and having slow, meaningul sweaty sex, and then getting up and having a huge greasy breakfast, and going right BACK to bed, with the dirty dishes in the sink... (It's been one hell of a long time since I had that!)
Why is it so hard to completely enjoy being single? I mean, shit, I chose to be single. Yet every once in a while I see the way my girl friends talk about their husbands and I can't help but want someone in my life who makes me feel that way. I would have to catch up on all the sex I should have been having all this time, and actually enjoy getting up in the morning, because my bed wouldn't be empty (That and I'd be getting my Good morning nookie!)...
When I was writing the outline for this post (what, you think this shit just popped out of my brain and typed itself up while I watched Sex and the City and ate half a bag of Oreos? Nuh uh), I made a list of pros and cons of being single. I filled up the entire pro-single column, meanwhile there was only one item written on the con side.
Snugglebunny. (Only because I hate falling asleep to wake up snuggling my vibrator.) Once I moved to the con side it took me twice as long to complete the list as for the pro-single column.
Doesn't take Dr. Phil to figure that one out. Just don't tell my mother. She'll revoke her offer to attend my wedding and then I'll never be able to marry a gay guy for the cash prize.
There are many treasured moments that I can enjoy every day because I'm single: popping pimples in the bathroom in peace, not doing dishes for a week and a half, taking up all the hard drive space with my favorite girly tv shows, eating rocky road ice cream (for the second time)right out of the conatainer with a super sized spoon, at the kitchen counter in my underwear and maybe dancing a little bit to The Office theme song and then there are the more serious things like I'm writing about here that make me wonder why It's so hard to find the right man for me.
So, I came to POF to find a decent man, who will respect me, and not be around solely for the sex, or to use me for money, or simply for my company. Yes, I know, I am awesome with a capital A, but I want to meet someone who's awesomeness will be equivalent to my own awesomeness, and we can be awesome together.
Here's hoping that the right man is out there, and has a sense of humor, 'cause he's gonna need it with me!
Thank god there's a free site that I could go to, and not have to fork out money to find a guy, 'cause at this stage of my life, the ice cream would win!
