I'm Darryl and yes I have been on this some months ago (truth is I told myself I would never go back on-and here I am).
Actualy, I consider myself an ol' schooler of the site. Before I mention more about who I am I have some minor things of which I wish to address - so everyone knows wher e I am coming from (in terms of intention(s)).
Personality coupled with content of charcter is of the most importace to me. The reason I mention this is because, (it may be hard to believe) even if a lady is on everyone's 10 top ,'hot-list' and she has a poor atitude, then I am simply not willing to move forward (been there, done that).
A lot of times, I just want to talk for the sole purpose of ,"talking to the opposite sex" - it doesn't mean, I want you or that I'm crazy about you.
Within my past on this site, I have as any other man, I've made a lot of mistakes due to being spontaneous and arisen miscommunications - however, I have never,"cursed , acted out of perversion or put other's down."
Aside from all of the above, my personality is multi-dimensional, I can be found spending hours within the library researching the natural sciences or acting crazy and showing off my dance moves on YouTube along with my sense of shock humour.
All I really hope to find really is a lady who is on my,"level" sort of speaking. My ideology is far left-winged, if don't take time with the less fortunate, who will.
I am the absolute coolest cat when it comes to on-line dating despite my social-awkwardness.
I never turn down a date - if there's no chemistry, then dam, lets have some fun!
My sole ambition in this world is, "purpose to make the world a better place" so if your purpose is to climb that career hierarchy and make moves within the financial world - nothing wrong with that, we just won't work.
I'm am the world's easiest guy to get-along with, (I know that's quite the statement) but I say this because I am as open to making friends with people who couldn't be more different then me as I am to my own personality type.
Inteligence, I'll just say it, my psychometric IQ is 108 (wish it was higher) and I am in the 90 percentile within verbal comprehension. So yes, I can write rap, poetry, columns, feature stories even though my spelling is at times questionable.
And I just have to mention this cause (not to be vain) but cause I'm so proud, currently I'm in the top 15 percentile in the Big-Brain game - doesn't that rock!
(laughs).
I do have issue's but I think it's soley up to me to handle them, but I have no regrets in terms of past relationships because with each I had awesome memories to cherish.
Right, I am a single father of a 10 year-old (wouldn't have it anyother way) and I'm taking the year off working hard on personal projects that are so important to me. And yes I live with my disabled mom.
So, alas, I don't wish to debate my circumstance, it's tiring it's just me and that's what I know best is being me and I don't feel I need to validate myself - just find a lovely lady on my level.
And hopefuly, I won't end up with a reckless lady who is morraly bankrupt because I have to keep my life on a positive vibe.

First, I'm one of those people my mother warned me to stay away from when I was much younger .... a single parent. "They're only looking for someone to support and raise their kids for them!" I've been a single and only parent for over 6 years but now am getting more time to get out and do things.
So, looking for singles events in NorthWest Alberta. Maybe Edmonton occasionally but I prefer the country and landscape with texture. Any campouts planned for Northern Alberta? I've only seen postings for the South so far this spring. | |
