Posted: 7/15/2007 11:04:35 AM | HI Everyone... I am a single mom of 2 great kids...I work hard... enjoy what I have and try not to worry about the little stuff.... I read this once some place kinda summed up my thinking in a nut shell so to speak....
As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will.
You will have your heart broken probably more than once and it's harder every time.
You'll break hearts too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.
You'll fight with your best friend.
You'll blame a new love for things an old one did.
You'll cry because time is passing too fast, and you'll eventually lose someone you love.
So take too many pictures, laugh too much, and love like you've never
been hurt because every sixty seconds you spend upset
is a minute of happiness you'll never get back.
Don't be afraid that your life will end, be afraid that it will never begin.
Live simply.
Laugh to much.
Love generously.

Being in the website development field, I have to say: Kudos to the admins and developers - this site is quite the impressive venture! I'm 31, was born and raised here in the Peg, and mostly here just to see who's out there. This looks like it could be a good place even just to hang out on occasion. :)

Im just moving back to Brandon MB after living in Whistler BC for the last 6 yrs. I moved back to help out a sick family member. If I dont reply to message you send me...im not ignoring you...just busy.
As for me, I'm a bit of a geek...ok more a geek than Id like to admit. Im a school trained Computer System Tech...I also do online gaming and chatting. I also do car stereo work and also into car restoration. I was a DJ for many years in Thompson and surrounding areas..so I like pretty much all kinds of music and yes..I do dance...rather well im told.
While living in BC ive learned alot of new things...Sushi is good...Ice cream comes in 218 flavors....+30 celsius on the coast is bloody hot....eating healthy does have benefits...4:20 isnt just any time of day.
Im looking forward to hearing from some of you on various topics as I do read alot of the news and world events as well.

Posted: 11/20/2007 9:46:21 AM | You know those movies where one of the main characters is afraid to tell the person they just met that one big secret that defines themselves but may be unacceptable to a person you just met? Well this introduction is going to blow that scenario out of the water…
So I am not your typical male and I certainly don’t fit many people’s objective of pair bonding… on the other hand, I have represented myself truthfully on the profile and if you read it you will see that I am a caring, honest and I have been told a special kind of person….
My reality is such that I like to experience life and what is has to offer… I don’t accept outdated rules of behaviours and measures of success although I usually accept that they have a reason for being there and try and respect them as a guideline that most people don’t question. I do question them and have found that most need questioning. I have gotten over being frustrated by our societal norms and like the fact that I can throw most of them out and decide my own.
At this point in time in my life I am a long hair… which means I am growing my hair to a length I had when I travelled to Europe between high school and university…. Its sort of a “**** you” response to society in a non threatening way… and besides it looks hot… lol
OK, I have been avoiding this part… I am married… have been with my partner for nearly 20 years… which surprises both of us actually…. We love each other and were monogamous for the first 15 years of our relationship (sort of doing what we though we should… We don’t live our life with all the shoulds that most people do ) We live in an open relationship which means we see others, it is never a threat to our relationship but is a fun way to have a life we like… there are lots of reasons for our decisions and I am extremely open to sharing them with you .
So we carry some unique friendships both together and apart…. For example, my partner has a “**** buddy” who is a close personal friend as well, last weekend we met a couple and had group sex… sharing each others bodies freely. So I guess the bottom line of mentioning all this is that I have been told that “I am a rather complicated, sensual and multi-dimensional individual” not without my own personal challenges but interesting none the less.
So. I invite you to consider the following. In your search here on POF would you consider having someone you can share some intimate adventures with… whether it be someone to talk to about the challenges of going on dates and understanding men’s motivations or having some great sex that can explore some of your personal fantasies… I am offering you some of my time with no expectations. I am sure we have some life experiences that we can share, I suspect I can learn from you and we would be compatible by the simple fact that you have read this so far and are open enough to give it a shot … with that in mind I feel the that the chemistry would be right to develop a close and personal friendship.
So I have put some thought into this email and would appreciate an honest response … I am mature enough to accept both a positive or negative responses … I would just appreciate knowing. So thanks for reading this email and I look forward to your response to this rather long introduction…     | |

I'm a 43 yr old man-ager... ( man + teenager ) ... divorced with the bestest kids in the world that I have on a visitation basis... As you can see I have a picture and it's very recent... becareful many post pics of years before.... ( fell for that too many times ) which i hate to say is a deal breaker before a deal can even be struck!
