I happened to meet a man that I thought was interresting. He was wearing cowboy boots and had some cool tribal tatts. I was quite fond of the dragon that wrapped around from chest to back. I thought we would meet at Bailey's later for drinks, but I missed our connection. If you're the Roland I'm thinking of, we've already met. Posted: 10/11/2005 8:21:42 PM | I am new to the board and plenty of fish so I thought I would say hi. I have been seperated for the last two years and am still going through the divorce process but thought it was time to start meeting people and stop burying myself in my work. I have checked out a few of the dating sites but none of them seem to let you do anything but browse profiles until you pay. My friend recommended this site and I am amazed at how much you can do on this site.
Anyway I hope to one day soon to be able to particiapte in some of the POF events, and start making new friends. Unfortunately I am already booked for the nights of the Halloween bowl and the party bus, so maybe next month.

Ummm I am a clown.... you heard the story about that clown... well I am one of them. I am a divorced non custodial parent. My friends call me(insert name here) Max or fadurmax. I am friendly and outgoing and work well as part of a team. Ok ok that doesn't belong here but I was starting to feel like I was filling out a job application. Any way I haven't had the chance to fish in awhile and I hear the fish are a plenty. I look forward to meeting you all as I understand you do have group gatherings. Heard lotsa wonderful things about this site so I've set aside my fears, dispelled the myth that only loosers do on-line dating, rummaged for a picture that doesn't show me either shaving my legs or bending over (my daughter takes all the pics and seems to find those most amusing) and put a Profile in today. All the other goodies about me are in my profile. Wish me luck.
I'm 43, divorced, still have body parts where they should be, can still turn some heads and thinking what's the worst that can happen, I'll make some new friends.
I didn't even know what the heck this "Forum" was that people speak of in their profiles until I did a little searching thru the site. Found it. It's kinda like MSN - for grown-ups...!
Given how seriously directionally challenged I am (as per my profile), hopefully I can find my way back over here because I really do look forward to chatting...!

Glad you're liking the site! You already live with me, so you know me to a T already...therefore this post is for those who DON'T know me that well, if at all...
I'm a SWF, soon to be 22 this January, 5'7", hazel eyes, long blue-black hair, glasses, lip piercing (yes, it's the only one I have), goth (not satanic...more Pagan than anything), and considered bbw.
I work full-time at a call centre, love music, movies, singing, reading, watching NHL (GO AVS GO!!), I like the occasional video game, but mostly like to go out and have fun with my friends!

I am a focused guy, initially looking for women to date and get to know. I am the typical nice guy, who will treat you with the respect you deserve. I am not a game player, and I'll tell you exactly what I am thinking, what I want in life, and who I am. I hide very little about myself, and I am honest to a fault. I believe you can't learn much about a person online, this is a forum to help break the ice and get a first date. Only after dating someone for a while do I feel I know them.
A big turn off for me is women who post profiles then play a bunch of games. What games you ask? Like saying you already have a boyfriend, then why haven't you removed your profile? Also those ladies who refuse to give any contact information, why waste my time?
I expect people on this site to be like me honest and respectful. If you aren't interested in dating me I am cool with that, I don't expect everyone to love me. If you are on here wasting my time, I'm gonna tell you exactly what I think of that.

I'm considered to be a great friend for those who are mine....I love children. I have two angels myself. I come from a family of 7,three sisters and one older brother. I've lived in Montreal,Mississauga,Toronto and here in the Peg. Winnipeg will always be my favourite city,even if I moved elsewhere. Too many memories,friends made, pastimes had etc.....
I found this site years ago,when they used to have a CHAT room. Back then you would put your profile up, and for some of us, use the chat room as a forum for discussion. But it evolved into a chaotic nightmare where people would have online 'boyfriends,girlfriends' and their disputes and childish games would be played out for all to see....
So now this site is perfect. You put your profile up, or in the fishpond and see what comes up after trolling for a bit.
Anyways....so my name is Vic and if you want to say hi, then say hi. If we click we click, if we don't we don't and that's cool too.
