Posted: 9/16/2006 2:39:24 PM | I've been a member of POF for a while now, but stayed in the background, more observing than anything. I enjoy this site and enjoy reading the Forums.
I'm a separated mother of 4 kids. One has moved out, one uses the front door as a revolving door and the two younger ones are boys. There are some days the smell of testertone is overwhelming in this house , but I love em all! I work full time, love my job. I am a down to earth type person and enjoy the simpler things....walks, movies, sitting by a campfire, and dancing....I love to dance. I am considering attending a POF party, but I think I will probably wait for the next one to be arranged. I am looking forward to making many new friends on here. From what I have read so far on the forums there are a lot of great people. | |

I just started on the site Sept 23rd Great website, and hoping to get to know many but looking for one special one. Hope she is is but if not that's okay because my kids come first. I hope to check out one of the POF gatherings someday too.
I am a single dad 44 living in Saint John, work as an IT geek in tech support, what else to say I am stable both mentally and finacially lol and just seeing if I can meet some great people here!

When a coworker mentioned this site to me I told him and others around that I was going to join it, they all kinda chuckled because if you knew how shy I am in real life you'd have your doubts that I'd do it. But I think I just hit the point in my life where I want to say f*ck it and not worry or care what anyone thinks of me as long as I'm doing what I want and having fun.
As for these forums you'll no doubt be seeing a lot of posts from me since I have a feeling I'm going to end up being a post whore. It's taking all my willpower not to respond to every thread here but I figure I'll take the time to get to know everyone before adding my two cents to everything.
ps. I'm amazed that this website is completely free and is still able to survive without any obtrusive advertising. | |
