You really set yourself up for this one - but - in his defense - it has been on the local news here about Houston having the highest over weight population in the country.
I dated a woman in LaPorte (south east of Houston) and she was trim and slim.
They are down there - maybe you are just hanging out in the wrong places?
What's the saying - "you can't see the forrest because of the trees"?
Anyways - everyone likes different things and that is that.

*Funny - the guy posts up a simple question - to other guys across the state and all these women keep calling him "little man" or other terms like that? Why is that?

If you are over weight that is fine, only be honest and dont waste a healthy, fit, cute guy like me time!! Put on your profile: I am fat, cant get a guy in years, looking for someone to finance and or fund my gigantic eating habit and I hate gyms and trying to be fit.
I am not trying to be mean just honest. If you are fat then put that so that fat guys can find you, and yall can fall in love, and have a great understanding of each others love coming second gaveway to food in general and junk food.
By the way JoeJoe I live in San Antonio and my brother can we say DITTO in every kind of FAT way! I couldnt agree with your post more, thank you for posting it, somebody needed to do the right thing!! Like they say, "Bo knows Joe" what ever the hell it was Nike was talking about?? it sounded good.

How harmful of you to be honest and tell someone they are over weight...poor liberal water walkers..we must never make a remark about anyone or anything not even someones dog Joe.
We must instead pretend we like fat women who eat way too much and blame it on everything they can think of from thyroids to too many cans of Altoids or better some fast food restaurant.
I say fooey, it is high time we get off this poor pitiful me trip and start excepting constructive criticism. I have read many replies to your post and everyone seems to be so mad at Joe for telling the truth and how dare he be so mean and painful. Well, I say too bad something needed to be said and JOE, stood up, did the right thing and posted it.
THANK YOU Joe for a job well done, thank you for being the voice for so many of us healthy, cute and fit gentlemen out here who are sick and tired of being fooled by another few extra pounded 500 pound monster. | |

Believe me!...I understand what you guys are saying,but Alot of times these women are hoping that if they get the chance to meet and talk with you..you'll somehow see past the weight and like the person inside..Their not thinking that their lying, They think if they could just get their foot in the door they'll be able to sell themselves to ya!

I have seen women who say they are overweight, but man...they are GOOD!!!!! I will say this about overweight women that here in San Antonio, there is quite a bit, but they are so full of themselves and high on themselves more than women who are average and fit, it seems. Its crazy! I have always loved women with meat on their bones, but I am finding that they are just as stuck up as a woman who would be skinny etc. But I would pick a woman with a few extra pounds over Pam Anderson anyday. I once met a woman who said she was slim/slender on her online profile and she had no photo, when I met her in person, she would be classified as few extra pounds, but I didn't care, I didn't get mad...in fact, I loved what I saw! and was relieved...I was scared she was too skinny. And I dont get what the big deal is about flat board stomachs. I have met many women who care too much about that...so what if you have a flabby stomach?? There are many things to worry about besides that. I am one of a few who just doesn't care. I see beauty in other ways when it comes to a woman. | |

What this means is that what attracts them is somehow superior to what attracts you, as if some argument could be presented and then you see the light and now just want a brain in a jar or a bowl of humanoid cells to fulfull your romantic destiny.
You could respond that criticizing your preferences is just as shallow, and ignores the "real" you etc. lol But moralistic social fundy-thumpers are not about to shine the same light on their own views that they would aim at your personal preferences.
Using such notions as "should" and "ought" with regard to what attracts someone is a category mistake. It's like saying you "should" be attracted to onions, and if you're not, well then you are obviously a food bigot, narrow-minded, not looking at the "real" inner attractions of food, etc.
My advice is to just try to screen them out if you're not interested. Obvious red flags are: no pictures, vague pictures, pictures that only show the head or above the waist, the universally repulsive glamor shots, or refusing to provide more photos.
It they really believed all this arbitrary crap, they would not be so obviously in hiding and using euphemisms.
Notice there is no Weight parameter in the profile form. You must be financially stable, while they can eat themselves to death with complete dignity.
Believe in the fat, and you shall be saved, but not from the pretentious shrewishness of the arbitrary. lol | |

That is the most common delusion, and men interpret it, once they have met such individuals, as lying .
False impressions for the sake of a later rationalization that will redeem the weight.
And to knowingly give a false impression is to lie .
Let's see if all the honesty cheerleaders and grandstanders take that and run with it.  Oops that might cause weight loss, and thus render them superficial. lol | |

Ladies, there is a wide range of natural, healthy sizes and body configurations at which women can be beautiful.
And then there are those extremes at which all the "BBW," "voluptuous," "Rubenesque" and "whole lotta shakin' goin' on" euphemisms in the known universe won't fool anyone but you.
Let me just say---and this goes for us men, too---if you can't wipe your own a$$, you're too fat. If there are parts of you that hang over *other* parts of you while you're standing up, and things get lost in there sometimes (THERE'S the remote!) you're too fat. If you HAD to buy the Suburban because you don't FIT in a Camry, you're too fat. Unless you're 7' tall or something.
If you need a footstool to tie your shoes . . . oh, wait. Did I just set the bar too high?
The current standard is unrealistically skinny, yes. Hollywood "lollipop women" with their skin shrunk tight around their visible ribs and clavicles freak me out. But obesity is a medical condition.

The "hot" women are soooooo empty and shallow and the "what you gonna buy or do for me attitude" its a total mess to be happy, and sex to them is like eating food, they have had it served up so many ways by so many men, that if you do get a hottie, they hate you for having the least bit sexual desire for them...But like all things in this earth, there is nothing new under the sun so it seems, except a bigger and more freaky mass of melted fat cells.
