Posted: 5/3/2006 6:09:54 PM | I was in Alcohol Rehab back when I was in the Air Force. I was getting ready to retire and they snagged me... *********** Lieutenant thought I had a drinking problem. The Rehab unit shared the floor with the psyche ward...
I was 42... she was 19.... She was a patient in the psyche ward...When I got out she looked me up... Nuff said about that one... Woof...
Met 3 or 4...might have been more, at AA/NA meetings/dances... Lots of baggage there...
Let's just say a Psyche Ward or AA/NA meetings are not the best places to meet women... Voice of experience speaking...

I guess strangest would probably be at a gas station. I was just getting gas and this truck pulls in...the driver rolls down his window and proceeds to tell me I have the best legs he's ever seen...told me he was in town for the rodeo, staying at a hotel and gave me the number.
Went out with him for awhile but bullriders aren't all their cracked up to be in bed | |

While driving in heavytraffic, started talking to the cute guy in the car next to me and went out to dinner with him that weekend. We ended up dating for 6 months!
On an airplane headed toward Hawaii. Met a surfer dude and surfed with him there.
In a continuing education seminar, by the teacher.
On the phone by a car warranty guy.
In the lobby of the dentist's office.
At a tire store by a fellow customer.
At a weight watchers meeting, lol.
(Just be friendly and talk to people where ever you go, you never know.) | |

Coming off the highway and this Hummer cuts me off in a way that I almost nailed him and it woulda been my fault. I'm so mad that at red light I roll down my window. I drive a small car so I can't even see the driver. I do something very stupid and get out of my car. Guy rolls down his window and I ask him if he's drunk? He smiles very cute smile and says no. He's lost! Not from here and needs directions. I ask again, r u drunk and again he says no. I'm not as mad anymore and am realizing that this guy is very cute. I give him the directions to get to where he's going. Light turns green and instead of turning, he follows me. I pull over and once again get outta my car. He gets outta Hummer. I tell him he missed his turn. He asks me if I wanna go for coffee. I say yes. It was really good. We still see each other everytime he rolls through town. Nothing serious, just a mutual attraction as well as good conversation. You just never know though! | |

Posted: 5/10/2006 1:35:19 AM | I flew in to a crazy out-of-the-way "station" when I was in the U. S. Navy (a very remote island in the middle of the Indian Ocean). He was the "Customs Officer" and had to go through my luggage.............we got married two years later.
We aren't still or I wouldn't be writing this! (and this was MANY years ago)! But! WHAT a romance!
He's still one of the NICEST guys I've ever known! | |

Posted: 5/10/2006 9:34:38 PM | it wasn`t me that was picked up.. 1 nite yrs ago, me & a bunch of friends were just driving around when some guy in an old ford truck pulled up next 2 us (i LOVE the old ford trucks!).. so anyways.. i rolled down the window & had asked him if i could go 4 a ride in his truck.. "sure" he said.. so i "ditched" my friends (am laffing as i type this.. gawd i was a wild 1 back then!  ).. so anywho.. we drove around 4 awhile.. he ended up coming back 2 my place.. well i won`t go into details as 2 what happened next..  | |

All I remembered were his deep gray eyes. He finally says that he has completed the work, and do I have a business card. I gave him mine, and said "call anytime". He smiled back at me, and went on his way out tripping a little at the door. My coworker stares at me, and she begins squealing out a congrats to me, and asks "Do you think he will call you?" I smile, and notice the backpack he forgot, and say "Oh yes, you can bet on it!" He did call, we had a great NSA, that turned into a two year relationship. | |

He and I were alone in the room and he went on and on and on about how attracted to me he is. Then he took my hand and kissed it. At this point, the doctor came in.
"I see you've met my daughter..."
Hasn't been back since.

Then there was the time I was on a date at a coffee shop. My date went to the bathroom. Soon after, this well-dressed older man approached me:
"Hello."
"Hello..."
"You seem like a nice girl I would like to pamper. I could be your friend. Your sugardaddy, if you will."
*blinks* "...I'm..no, it's okay. Thank you, though..."
"Are you a student?"
"...yes..." (at this point I'm looking around for my date, wondering what's taking so long)
"I'm just looking for a companion. We could eat dinner together, go shopping, watch movies...I could pay your tuition."
"Ahahahahaha. Look...I don't think you're willing to pay 24 000 a year for some box. That's one pricey prostitute."
"...I make a lot."
"Yeah? Okay, then. But I gots me The Herps."
"Herps?"
"Herps, Herpes. Whatever you wanna call 'em, I got 'em. They're under control right now, but they're there."
"..."
"So...for dinner...do you cook?"

Then there was the time I was at Dave and Buster's (for all you non-Torontonians, it's an adult arcade, basically) for my girlfriend's engagement party...don't ask...
Anyway, we were a small group. After drinking a bit at the bar, the couple went to play more games. The other three girls went to the washroom. An article on the bar caught my eye, and like an idiot, I decided to stay there and read it. That's when a man approached me. After downing his scotch, he said:
"Come here often?"
...who the hell goes to Dave and Buster's often? Honestly now. That line doesn't work everywhere you go!
Within his 1 minute speech about how great he is, he mentioned how he's a "very successful businessman who lives in Forest Hill", "looking for a wife", and "cooks a mean turkey" (?! lol). If it weren't for the fanny pack, I would have given him my real number and not told him I had a (fake) 6-year-old daughter.  | |

When I'm concentrating I tend to put my head down.. At the end of the exam I go up to the front and this guy I'd never met before says to me 'were you asleep?' I was a bit confused and he said 'I noticed you with your head on the table, most people are stressed out in this place but you looked so relaxed!' I laughed and we talked for a minute out in the hall and he asked me for my number. We went for a drink a couple of times, he was nice but as we were both leaving uni that month nothing ever came of it. *sigh* lol | |

#1 In a patients room. It was her son.....she was not in serious condition, but I was speechless for a moment until I regained my thoughts, and then politely declined.
#2 One of the coroners in the city I live asked me out while taking pictures of a patient that had passed away.

You are right, that line was not well-received when I used it at the free clinic. Or the one time I accidentally went to the ladies restroom.

I am driving down the road in my hot pink swimsuit (with shorts on) and I this guy on a crotch rocket caught my eye. I waved and he waved me into a parking lot. We talked He gave me his number. We hit it off well!!! 17 years later we are still friends although he is happily married to another woman. He was the best lover I ever had becasue the chemistry was sooo strong. But I am excited becasue my next lover will top him I am sure!!! It will be a wonder what age and maturity will bring. | |

One Saturday afternoon, I was on my way to the beach in Malibu. The traffic was a a dead standstill. It is hot so I take off my shirt because I am wearing a bikini underneath. A few minutes later this guy pulls up next to me and askes me something, but I didn't hear because I was playing the stereo. I asked what did he say. He told me he liked my convertible. I thanked him and my lane of traffic opens up so I drove up a little way.
He pulls along side of me again a bit later, but this time he dosen't have his sunglasses on. And he is a hot looking guy. He mentions how the traffic sucks, did I want to get off the freeway for a drink. I said no. So his lane pulls ahead and he gets off at the same exit I needed to.
There are a few cars between us and I got the red light. A few miles later, on this one lane highway through the canyon, he is parked in this little store parking lot. He has a cardboard sign he wrote "PLEASE" and is waving madly at me. So I pulled into the store and parked.
He askes if he can buy me a Pepsi or icecream. So I go for the soda. Then after we talk and have the sodas, he invites me to have lunch with him in Malibu and I accepted.
Went out with him one other time for lunch, and when I asked for his phone number, he said he would call me again, but never did. I think that he might have been married or lived with someone. | |
